"November 24th, purchased a 60 Samsung television. November 30th the payment was accepted by Walmart.com. Product was supposed to be deliver to my local Wal-Mart store Dec 9th. Not to bad if you think about it. PROBLEM IS, that ever since the order was placed, NOT one person from, my local Wal-Mart manager to Corporate managers at Walmart.com could tell me where my order was.
Dec 9th. Called and visited the store to see if my order was delivered. Politely the gentleman checked the store as well as all trailers that had been delivered, for my order. NOTHING. He then called Wal-Mart dot com and they stated to him it was on the truck for delivery that day. OK, I can wait one day. Also spoke with a store manager and she assured me that a call back would come when they found out where my order was. LOL NO CAL.
Dec 10th. Called Wal-Mart again and the same answer. Called DOT COM and they assured me along with the store manager that my order was on TRAILER # **** and it was at their dock delivered this morning. Manager called me back to state that my order was not on the trailer.
7 AM SUNDAY MORNING, be furious at this point with Wal-mart dot com, I called them again. AHAH! Finally an answer. YES I HAD BEEN LIED TO BY EVERY REPRESENTATIVE FROM WAL-MART.COM, NOT THE STORE MANAGER. I WAS TOLD IT WAS ON THE TRUCK, IT WAS AT THE STORE, IT WILL BE HERE TOMORROW. Now that that is out of the way....
My order was never even placed by the Supplier. It was billed and charged against my card, but no order was even generated. The best that Wal-Mart could do was to order it all over again. The delivery date was supposed to be by Dec 29th. ARE YOU SERIOUS???
FINAL OUTCOME: I GOT ALL OF MY MONEY BACK FROM MY ORDER, FILLED A DISPUTE FOR FRAUD AGAINST WALMART.COM WITH MY CREDIT CARD ( WHICH ALL OF YOU SHOULD DO AS WELL). AND WILL BE GOING ANYWHERE BUT WAL-MART TO PURCHASE A NEW TV....
Thank you Wal-Mart.com for. 1. Not care for your customers and their concerns. 2. Taking funds fraudulently from customer by promising a product and not delivering. 3. USERY, Another way of committing fraud to your customers. 4. Not refunding my money immediately back to my account. You take the payment in 10 seconds, but it takes over 14 days to get our money back.
THANK YOU FAR ALL OF THE HASSELS YOU HAVE CREATED FOR MYSELF AS WELL AS A LOT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS JUST SO CORPORATE CAN GETS A GREAT BONUS. What you really do is BONE US, the customers. You should give every customers a gift card with at least a HUNDRED DOLLARS on it. take it out of your CORPORATE GREED ACCOUNT. "
"Walmart suckered me into placing an order with a marketplace seller, and when I didn't get all the items I ordered Walmart refuses to do anything, says they've got nothing to do with it despite taking the order and charging my card, that all problems are handled by the seller. The seller can't be contacted, uses a fake name with a fake voicemail. Obviously a scammer, and the feedback on walmart.com shows at least a dozen people being ripped off in the month since I placed my order. I informed Walmart's corporate office of the situation, but they don't see a problem, profiting from fraud is just business as usual apparently. And when I tried to get a refund through my credit card, Walmart lied to the bank and said I never reported a problem and that the entire order was shipped. Pretty shocking experience to see a major corporation engaged in petty theft, this company has SEVERE problems, of course I will never have anything do with it going forward, but it should be shut down, it shouldn't be operating in America"
"They offered a Lego Duplo set for $75.00 from a private seller. Later I went back on Walmart.com and saw that they offer the same set for under $25.00 directly from Walmart. I can't believe that Walmart would let private sellers on their online site that charge more money than they do. You can't return to Walmart and the private seller has no phone number available. I thought $75.00 was a lot for a Lego Duplo set but figured it was a big set and very elaborate....not so.
Wanted to return set from private seller but no way to contact them. Shame on you Walmart...list your items online not private sellers. Maybe Walmart gets a kick back from them. Will never order online again."
"Worse service ever worse online service I will cancel my Walmart card and no more"
"Beware - when you shop at Walmart.com you are most likely not buying from Walmart. They are posing as a store front for lots of other retailers like Amazon. This is not obvious at first. You think you're ordering from Walmart and if there are problems, you can return it to a bricks and mortar location. Not the case. Okay - so if they want to compete with Amazon, they simply aren't doing homework on the retailers they're serving up to you. I ordered a product from ProElectronics Distributing (thinking it was Walmart). They sent a product that I wanted to return. Indeed it was shipped free, in a flimsy plastic envelope (snail mail, not expedited - probably cost them $3) and they deducted $15 from my payment to process the return. In hindsight, it's all in the fine print, but it's not obvious. If you want to buy from Walmart, go to their physical store locations. If you want to buy online from a reputable retailer, go to Amazon."
"I ordered a Sentry Fireproof File Safe on Thursday. It was supposed to be ready for Pickup Monday . Today, Sunday, it is still "processing" and is not scheduled to arrive at the store for pickup until 15 days from now. Best Cancel, I really want to give Walmart a chance to enhance competition as they are the only company with the buying power to do so. The acquisition of Jet.com seems to have done nothing thus far."
" Working the website was not so easy on placing an order. Free shipping with specific dates are in accurate and not true, in fact they actually charged a fee. Walmart is not even able to track the merchandise that was supposed to have already arrived as they have no idea where it is when they look at the shipping details which are almost nonexistent. Once you get through to customer service after several attempts and or Attend a 20 minute wait, the service personnel are exceptionally courteous and try to be helpful unsuccessfully. This is my first experience on purchasing at Walmart.com and definitely is my last"
"If you make a mistake or THEY make a mistake i.e. they charge you for shipping when it states free shipping over $50.00...there is NO WAY I found to contact them. Then I cancelled the item and it said something like...well we will see if we can stop your package. Suggest either you go direct to the store or deal with someone who you can call when things happen as they always do."
"Ordered 6 jars of specialty pickles (wickles) on Walmart.com, to be shipped to a local Walmart store - NOT to my home. I was charged immediately upon placing the order. After weeks, I got a shipping notification with a tracking number. Another week later, it became obvious that the shipment had gone astray. Another week after that I finally called, and an extraordinarily rude customer service representative said that apparently the order was damaged enroute, that UPS "should have contacted" me, and that nothing would be done until the damaged order finally arrived at their location - wherever that is (not in my state). Keep in mind that UPS would have had not the slightest idea who I was, was not shipping to me, had no way of knowing anything about me. The products were being shipped, by Walmart, from Walmart, to a Walmart store. A replacement order was not shipped, I was not refunded, they refused to do anything until they examined the shipment THAT NEVER GOT WITHIN 500 MILES OF ME AND WAS BEING SHIPPED TO ONE OF THEIR STORES. Another couple days later I called back and asked for a supervisor, who essentially told me that "was the policy" and "too bad". I corrected the situation by contacting my credit card company and disputing the charge as fraud (products and services never delivered). I will never, ever, ever shop on Walmart.com, and frankly will never ever shop at ANY Walmart again. I have already replaced my Sams Club membership with a Costco membership. "
"I ordered some Black Friday sale items during the sale period and they are not honoring the sale price. I am currently going back and forth with customer care. Their items are more work to buy and full of hassle. Additionally, just before this I ordered some items that I had to have by a certain date and bought the shipping that said it would get the items to me by that date. The confirm email said they would arrive on a date after I had requested. Off to the customer care email train I went. Too much work to buy from them! Go with Amazon!"
"I made 2 online orders in a month and days later they sent an email saying they canceled the order because the price they listed was wrong. One was for end tables then the other was for surround sound. They should honor a price. I wasted time searching for items and purchasing. I was excited to get my items then being told nevermind is very bad business.
Update- walmart did send me an email to apologize and said they will be giving me a $25 gift card for the inconvenience. I am still disappointed about not receiving my surround sounder but it's something and they didn't have to do it. "
"Walmart has managed to take information technology to a new low. Now, the billing department at "Wally World" has to review soem online orders and verify information before processing and fulfilling an online order due to some undescribed and supposedly unknown security matter/problems. In my case, the bank has verified billing information. BUT Wally World needs up to 48 hours to process orders because it is experiencing ".... and unprecedented volume in orders during this period of time... " -- So, a multibillion dollar merchandising operation with global reach and automated systems cannot handle the usual holiday shopping season? REALLY? Pathetic service. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT WALMART AGAIN!"
"I have ordered quite a bit of stuff with Walmart, - and now I am so frustrated with their service that I am not going to order with their online store anymore ..
First it was missing peices in the packs of cushions , then the Dinner plates I ordered all came in wrong size . Now I had a package that was to be delivered to me on Friday, when it was already 2 pm Friday and nothing came to my house , I checked the tracking to see where it was- I was shocked to see that it was showing delivered 11 am .
I called up their Customer service to see what's going on, they said they can not do anything until I personally go to Police station, file a complaint of missing package from my property !!!!- for the package which never ever came to my house ?? then I need to gather Police file number, police badge number, policeman name , police station address and give Walmart all the police file details and then they will look into this ! this is a terrible experience nobody should have
I ca"
"I had two completely separate orders, and both were supposed to arrive on Wednesday, Nov 23. I paid $6 for next day shipping for each order. Neither are now scheduled to be here before Friday. I called customer service, and they are completely useless. I talked to 7 people, including 3 people in the escalation department. Walmart.com has no concern for their incompetence. Fedex has both orders as standard shipping. I can't get walmart to do anything to find out who is to blame for Fedex labeling the shipments as standard instead of next day.
Walmart knows most people won't go through the hassle of calling to get their money back. Walmart then just pockets all that money for next day shipping that they don't pay to Fedex. "
"I bought something off the site and then was very dissatisfied with what I got. Went to return it to the store and they say I can't because it was a third papery simply selling through the site. I had to go and find the third party and ship it to them and it cost me $7 just to do that. So, on a $50 purchase I was only refunded $43 and it was a huge, unpleasant, unexpected hassle. Do not buy through Walmart.com unless you are doing site to store. NOOOOOO. "
