"Bought a 2600 Watt genset from Wasatch Rendezvous in September of 2010 over the internet. Arrived quickly and well packaged. Generator had a dead battery that wouldn't accept a charge. Contacted Nelson the owner, and he sent a new battery right out. Wonderful customer service, would definitely recommend to family and friends.
Before buying, I asked about the negative review below. Was told that the 2600 generators will run some ACs at lower altitudes, but not in the mountains, which is all explained very clearly in the F.A.Q. on the website. Was also told that the returned genset had clearly been used and abused, so take that for what it's worth. My experience has been GREAT!"
"Saw their ad for a 2600 watt generator. Called Nelson to confirm that it would run the 13,500 btu air conditioner. He told me that it would. It was 2 weeks after I picked up the generator before I could test it out. I hooked it up, turned on the AC, and the generator died. Tried another AC unit of the same size, but newer on a trailer. Same thing. I called him and he said may make an exception for me if it was in new and resellable condition. Returned it to him in new resellable condition with all parts and manuals. About 1/2 max use time testing with it. He refused to replace or refund my money. Did not even consider the possibility that the unit may be bad. Buyer beware!!!"
"Purchased a 3200 Watt Inverter Generator for $1100. Asked if I could pick it up to save shipping, was told yes. Arrived at owner's house, he took the time to show me the features of the generator and also how to fill it with oil, connect the battery, and demonstrated on his own trailer. He then grabbed his teenage son and loaded the unit into my truck for me. Very nice man with nice family, seems to really care about his customers."
