"There were a few well recognized Jewelry Shops in my area that also repaired watches. They had good ratings, but I was looking for a Specialty Repair Shop, one where their "bread and butter" is fine watch repair. WRUSA did such a fine job on my Tag Hauer and my Son's Citizen, I sent WRUSA two limited-run creations, a Burberry and a Luminox. Everyone has one good book in them, as it were, I'll be looking forward to a repeat of their first works accomplishments.

Update: I sent them the Burberry, Luminox and I received them back in excellent operating condition and looks. They also included some instruction on proper winding care for my Luminox Auto. I will be continuing to use them.

As I didn't have the time nor patience to competitively shop for any of these repairs, nor did I think that would be practical. I do think for services provided they give a fair price for their services.

"I received my Swiss Legend wrist watch as a gift back in 2010 (my friend died the following year), and last year it stopped working. I took it to over 12 different watch repair shops in the greater Seattle area only to be told it was not repairable.

I decided to Google "Swiss Legend" watch repair and found Watch Repairs USA. I sent in the watch, and was sent an email (with a picture of my watch) that they received my watch and would send me an estimate. Within weeks, a estimate was sent and my un-repairable watch was repairable for a very minimal cost!

The watch was repaired in a timely fashion, and shipped back to me in Seattle. It arrived carefully wrapped in bubble wrap, with more wrapping around it! It was polished and looked better than new! The time & date were set to PST!

I do, however, want to let those like me know that even I was able to follow the instructions to send my watch easily and was able to keep track of it efficiently until it was returned.
