Second, they have lots of items, many of which are out of stock and have been for almost a year but they offer them.
What have we learned from this? They don't actually stock ANYTHING. You order, if they can find it and make money on it, you'll get it (maybe) .. or they are just harvesting credit card information.
Lots of obvious signs its a bogus store (e.g. Yahoo reviews link on their site doesn't work, etc.)."

"This was the worst online watch buying experience any customer could have. I placed the order, all looked well...after a week I checked my invoice to see if the item had been shipped, no, it had not been shipped. I received a formated auto response to my inquiring that they were backed up and would ship as soon as possible. Another week passed, I sent a letter repeating my request...got the same BS autoresponse. After that, I sent an email stating I want a real response..and I got one today, keep in mind I placed my order on the 16th and now it's the 30th:

I will never order from these people again.....Fer f!#s sake, "a reasonable time frame??"I love the wording in their email "a reasonable time frame"...a reasonable timeframe would have been to update your website to reflect a lack of inventory on a real time basis or at the very least respond to a customers email....

So I emailed them and asked for a refund if the watch was not in stock. They did not email to tell me they gave me my refund. I reviewed my bank account and realized the refund had taken place. Poor customer service. "

As you cannot speak to a real person, I sent them an email a few days later to ckeck on the status of my order. Despite their policy of returning emails within 48 hours, I got nothing. Sent them a second email and what I got was a generic email

What impressed me was that - in addition to being speedily processed and shipped - the piece was already set with the current time/date for my time zone (EDT), despite having been shipped from CA. "Pluses? Had the watch I wanted in stock, delivered it quickly. Claim to have 30 day return policy. May be an authorized Seiko dealer (but see below)
Minuses? Product was faulty. Watchesgiant doesn't have a live phone number - just a silly telephone information service. They tell you to email their customer service, but no reply. Finally, after multiple repeat emails (they promise to get back to you next day) got a reply in November: Contact "...Seiko for to get your watch repaired.." which is where I'm at now. The warranty card wasn't stamped by the company - I've yet to see if Seiko USA will honor it. In summary: I definitely wouldn't do business with Watchesgiant.com again. Not recommended."
