"WebVitamins customer service appears to not understand the meaning of customer service and WebVitamins treats customers in Alaska and Hawaii unfairly. I placed an order with WebVitamins and the package weighed 4 pounds. The postage rate to ship a 4 pound package by US Priority Mail to any zone 8 city is $16.13. Webvitamins ships through USPS and offers free shipping in the continental US but not to Alaska and Hawaii. When I asked why they didn't offer free shipping to Alaska and Hawaii, Customer Service told me the USPS charges them more to ship to Alaska and Hawaii. I told them that was not true. It costs the same postage ($16.13) to ship from Connecticut to Anchorage or Honolulu as it costs to ship to San Diego, Seattle, or any other west coast city, because all of those cities are in postal zone 8. Yet shipping to San Diego and Seattle is free while customers in Alaska and Hawaii have to pay for shipping. When I pointed out the error of their ways, Customer Service did not respond back to me nor did they change the postage structure. Customer Service told me "We are not in the business of ripping off people." My mistake!!! Apparently ripping off customers in Alaska and Hawaii is just a hobby."
"All went well. I received the items as ordered."
