"Weight Watchers now wants to be referred to as 'WW'. Why? Because they their business model is failing and they no longer want to be associated with the old name.
After decades of versions of 'NEW! IMPROVED! POINTS!' and food recommendations loaded with chemicals, a lot of people, including me, have realized their approach is outmoded and grossly overpriced for what it offers.
And don't even ask about their digital tools which are cumbersome and just poorly designed. Maybe one of their genius MBAs found a way to save money by hiring a high school kid to design them, but they are truly awful.
One star added for the local people who run meetings and truly seem to want to help -- even though headquarters doesn't bother to train them in anything much beyond getting you to spend more money."
"My wife opened an online account, which after three months was canceled. The account was closed by WeightWatchers and we could no longer access it. WeightWatchers continues to charge our credit card for an account that they closed after we canceled the membership! They refuse any logic, reasoning, or evidence and continue to charge our credit card. I will be forced to change the account number to keep them from continuing to steal from us."
