"Horrible (absolutely one of the worst) on-line experiences I can recall. Ordered an item as a Christmas gift on 12/10/2014. Received a confirmation email, then nothing! When I returned to the website as a registered customer it did not recognize my email username. re-registered and when I accessed the site it showed the item that I had received a transaction confirmation for in my "cart." I tried calling Westernwear.com's customer service (MULTIPLE TIMES) to determine the actual status of my order; all I get is either a busy signal or endless elevator music. I sent an email to Westernwear.com's customer service and attached the order confirmation. THEY NEVER RESPONDED! What a truly fly-by-night operation. I would recommend that anyone considering buying from Westernwear.com find a reputable and responsive alternative.
Update as of 12/22/2014: Finally got in touch with Customer Service. I was told the item had shipped on 12/19/2014 (Had I received an email indicating the item had shipped I never would have written this negative review.) I was given a UPS tracking number and and when I check the item is to arrive this afternoon. I have improved my original rating accordingly.

"Placed my order on December 3, 2014. No email, no phone call, nothing. I emailed them about my order- nothing. Twice! Called them 3 times. It is shipping today. Has it shipped? NO! This is my husband's Christmas gift and I want it shipped and here for Christmas. I took my time to find the right gift for him and this store doesn't even care."

"On the 15th Of July I ordered 2 pair of boots and paid for 2 day shipping. I then called to confirm the order. I was told that one pair of boots would be shipped out that day, and the other pair would be shipped out in two days. After a long talk with customer service the rep I was talking to assured me that my 1st pair of boots would arrive on Thursday the 17th by end of delivery day. This would have been ideal because I was going to wear them to an event I am going to tonight. I was able to track the ups number online and saw that by 2PM the package arrived in Indianapolis IN and was not set to deliver until Friday the 18th at end of delivery day. When you pay for 2 day delivery you should get the order 2 days later(or that is how it works in 99% of the online world). After dealing with customer care they could refund the cost of shipping or they could send a stop to UPS and have them returned to the warehouse. I picked the refund on shipping. However now I will have to buy a dressy pair of men's boots tonight for the event. Thank you so very much for costing me extra money. I for one will never ever use WesternWear.com ever again. Customer service is rude and the web site does not say unless you read every page of it before you check out that if WesternWear.com is out of stock that it will take 4 or more business days to arrive. So your two or overnight delivery is a out and out lie. "
