" Until I watched Mark's video about how to choose good espresso I've always assumed that dark/oily beans meant "great" espresso. Oh how wrong I was (thanks Mark!)
I've been using Starbucks espresso blend in my Breville which is a dark & oily bean and has always been a tad bitter and overpowering in my lattes. Also, I never saw the large amounts of crema shown in Mark's videos but I assumed Starbucks gets the best beans due to their cashflow.

So I ordered Orphea by Maromas and oh what a difference! The amount of crema production vs. Starbucks is very obvious. The taste is wonderful which explains it's high ratings from latte lovers. I always thought I was doing something wrong due to the lack of crema in my shots but now I know better.

Well it hasn't disappointed us yet and we use it several times each day. Easy to set up, operate and clean. It makes delicious espresso from whole beans or pre-ground. It froths any kind of milk (I use soy) like a champ. It includes a grinder inside the machine that can be adjusted for coarseness. The control panel tells you when to empty the puck container and refill the water reservoir and alerts you it's time for descaling. I just removed and cleaned the brew group and it could not have been easier. If you are looking for an automatic espresso machine that's easy to use and makes great tasting espresso then this one is for you. And the price at Whole Latte Love was better than Amazon. "
