"Beware of lazy written product descriptions. I bought a transom saver for my outboard motor. There was no special requirements posted online before the sale. If fact there was barely any description or specifications. The product arrived with a warning sticker saying that I must have power tilt to use the product. I notified Wholesale Marine that their site failed to mention this. They have ignored my request for a return label and they have made no change to their site. "

After waiting eight days for a reply to my email regarding matching a Jabsco Flat Tank Oil Changer SKU # ITT-17860-0012 lower price at acostmall.com I called Wholesale Marine. They declined matching the price and transferred me to Chad, a supervisor. Chad stated that acostmall.com price was too low to match and that he will rather lose a returning customer than match a low price regardless of the low price guarantee.
It was very disappointing."
"Very poor customer service, parts missing on order. Called up customer service, spoke to Rick. He did not call me back like he said he would. He supposedly spoke to his supervisor to see if the missing parts can be shipped overnight. He did not, they shipped 2 instead of 4 of the missing parts. I called back to speak to the supervisor, ROD. They were very indifferent and unsympathetic. STAY AWAY from them."
"Tried to place a special order. Did not receive a call back after an entire day. I called them back and was told they wouldn't order the part even though they sell many products from the same manufacturer. Very poor customer service."

Customer Service was fabulous about taking care of me by issuing a new order and accepting a return on the first set for credit. Again, the new set arrived the very next day. "I am sorry to write a negative review but I am very unhappy with Wholesale Marine for several reasons beginning with a sales person who did not know her product and cost me three weeks of boating time because the part she "cross referenced" for me was back ordered. An argumentative service representative who authorized a return but then sent it to the wrong address causing further delay, another representative who promised to look into why I had not received my return authorization and "call you right back" which has not happened yet. They all sounded sincere but couldn't back up their promises. Now I have to pack up the wrong part, find a fed-ex pick up point and wait to have my credit card reimbursed all because a young lady did not know the product. I ordered the correct part from Marineproducts.com and was very happy with their service."
