When we lived in Brooklyn, we'd buy whole blue fish fresh off the boat at Sheepshead Bay for 25 cents and for another 25 cents take it across the street from the dock where we'd get it filleted! A lot has changed in 50 years so treating ourselves to this taste of yesteryear is well worth it. Kudos to the freshness of the fish from Wholey's. Smelled as though caught the same day. Defrosted overnight in refrigerator. Pan fried with onions and seasonings. Nothing fancy. Delicious!"
