"in 2021 i placed an order of 700 Apple trees for my new established orchard, when it time for delivery, I was told they are short of trees and dont have them, OK .... I placed another order in November of 2021 for 600 apple trees and they were paid in full, the trees where supposed to be delivered on April 4th of 2022, A week prior to delivery i received a call from them and they told me that the trees are bigger than the size that we agreed on, so they cost more, now each tree cost me $10 more and to top that when they delivered the trees they were missing 19 trees and more than 25% did not look good , we contacted company in November /2022 to replace or refund the trees , they responded that they do not have warranty on any trees they sell ."
"Recieved dead tree and was treated with disrespect. Hung up on and even laughed at. Tree arrived with shipping notice. Planted and told it was dormant. Reported tree was dead again. Promised tree would be replaced next season. Never fulfilled promise. Then was told warranty would not be available. Very disappointed and hurt. This was a gift for a grandmothers memorial garden and was sent a dead tree that never came alive even with every intention possible to correct and resolve. Still have tree and still they will not honor. "
"WARNING. WILLIS ORCHARD, THIS COMPANY SENDS DEAD PLANTS AND WILL NOT RETURN YOUR MONEY. DO NOT IGNORE THE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK/COMPLAINTS LIKE I DID. YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF.. REPLACEMENT OFFERED BUT IF IT DIED OR ARRIVED DEAD - THEY WOULD NOT DO ANYTHING.
THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM - LOOK UP THE COMPLAINTS FROM THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND OTHER SOURCES"
"Ordered over $500 in tress, a year later I'm left with 4 trees that are alive. Many of the original were poorly packaged, shipped in snowy conditions, and never grew anything more than new suckers out of the ground. Warranty involves shipping the entire tree back to Georgia, customer service is inflexible, consider avoiding for any future orders."
"I would not recommend purchasing cherry trees from this company. I initially purchased 3 bare rooted dwarf sour cherry trees in late February 2017. I received them in early spring and planted them within a few days of receipt. That spring they all leafed out, but by early summer two died. I received replacements after calling customer service (they were responsive and helpful) and received the replacement trees in late November. I planted them the day I received them. In spring, the spring one of the replacement trees leafed out and the other never did. The lone surviving tree from the initial order never leafed out and it was dead.
On calling them back they will not replace anymore trees, even the initial one that didn't survive the winter. On pulling the dead trees out of the ground there was no new root growth. No fine roots, nothing. Their root stock just does not grow.
The jury is still out on the only surviving replacement tree, but it doesn't look all that healthy. Only a few leaves sprouted from one of the stems.
Very dissatisfied with their products.
Ordered raspberries and they were spindly and only 3 survived."
"Do not buy from this company! I ordered 4 2-3' purple Catalpa trees. They sent me 4 trees that had been much taller and chopped off the trunk at about 2 ft. When I asked how I was supposed to grow a tree that was chopped off they would not respond. They admitted that they did not deliver the items I ordered, were difficult to work with, and now I am having to file dispute on my credit card as they will not refund my money as promised. Even though they admitted in several emails that I did not receive what I ordered they will not reimburse me the money I am having to pay to send back their defective trees. Save yourself the time, money and frustration and buy from a reputable business. If I could give zero stars I would. "
"On 3 April Manager Carrie sent an email stating they didn't have the trees they confirmed having, which leads me to believe they never had the product in the 1st place. Possible false advertising? What was offered were two replacements at a greater cost.
I'm forwarding all my correspondence to Michigan's State Attorney General about false advertizing and bait and switch. Hopefully to stop Willis Orchard from conducting business in this matter with other potential customers.

"Purchased 4 peach trees, 3 cherry trees, and 3 grape vines. Two of the peach trees arrived in bad shape, the roots were dried out and broken.
The trees were dead. Sent e-mail and pictures to Willis Orchard customer service. They have not answered and appear to be a bad company to do business with. Beware they are a disreputable company with poor customer service.
Their website claims to replace bare root plants that die with in a year, but they won't even replace dead trees that they send.
You are better off buying locally and avoid Willis Orchard. I will not do business with them ever again.

"Buyer beware, no refund policy, poor and rude customer service. Avoid at all costs."
