"If you are in the market for an olympus c-5050, be very wary of trying to purchase one from WindsorFoto.com (a store at Yahoo shopping). I placed an order with them because, quite simply, they posted the lowest price on Yahoo shopping. Somehow, they also have a five star rating with Yahoo ... go figure.
After placing my order on their online order system, I recieved an e-mail asking me to call them at a 1-888 number to confirm my order; no problem, I call. Once I get the representative on the phone, he tries to sell me what he claims is an approximatly $1000 accessory package for an additional approximately $600. When I decline, he offers to throw in an extended waranty worth approximatly $100 or so. I'm not alarmed so far, this is fairly common marketing tactics, who can blame them for trying to make a sale, right? I was actually expecting this. When I refuse again, the salesperson says, "You realize this is a refurbished camera". I reply, "NO!". He says, "If you look at the web site, you will see that it says, 'refurbished'". I challenge anyone to find the word "refurbished" or any word of similar meaning on this page. This is a classic "bait and switch" with a little twist! Of course, you've got to read all the way through all the junk to the bottom. Please pardon me if it is inactive by the time you access it:

Anyway, he tells me that he will send me a new, not refurbished, camera if I buy his accessories which are, oh by the way, more than the sum total of the camera itself! I told him to cancel my order and am contacting my credit card company to make sure that they don't try to charge it anyway.
To top it all off, their "Privacy Policy" page http://shop.store.yahoo.com/buycam/privacypolicy.html includes this line:
"1. All products we sell are brand new and factory fresh"
