"my 600 ft. of AWG 6 AL XHHW came in 3 days on a small spool. My application was a bit unusual. I was using the spool as a current limiting inductor. I hadn't told Wire and cable to go. The pocket end was not Immediately accessible, but I removed one of the reel flanges and gained access to it. The spool consisted of a paperboard tube abd 2 plywood flanges held together with 1/4" diameter bolts and reel nuts on the opposite flange. with about 5A continuous, the steel bolts and nuts got hot (85C) so I removed them, and the coil worked great. "
