"I am building a new workshop in my house that I moved into last year. I have a home made router table, but wanted to upgrade. I have been eyeing the Jess-Em router lift for some time. I figured since i was building a new shop now would be the best time to buy. I found this on WoodCraft's web site, signed up for their email promotions (giving my 10% off my first order) and watched it. I got an email notifying me of a hot sale, 15% off everything on the site. In addition to my 10% welcome coupon it was an incredible savings. I pulled the trigger and ordered it. I had done some research into the site to make sure it wasn't a scam, but had read very few reviews. Then i started second guessing myself and the purchase, so to the depths of the reviews i went. I read a lot of reviews about delayed shipping, and no customer service. This was not the case with my purchase. I bought the lift on Friday at 10:56pm (why not?) and on Tuesday it was shipped. I received the unit on Thursday, less than a week from when i bought it, I had called customer service in the gap between purchase and shipping and they sent me the shipping info, then in an hour i got the "official" email from them it had shipped. This was a great company to work with and i will buy from them again."
"ridiculous company. i order bandsaw it says next day shipping and i ordered ( in stock) ,, 3 hours after ordered it says backorder, 3 hours after again website show in stock, i called to company she said fraud department has to contact you. why ??? no answer. i asked to her you have item she said backorder someone waiting same item almost 2 months. if you don`t have item why website show in stock......"
"Lousy Fraudulent Business. Charged me for an item which was actually backordered though they listed as In Stock. "
"I’m really not OK with mean people or extremely long shipping times. If I knew they had reviews this bad I would have bought from another. "
"I ordered a jointer, i got a emil giving me a date of arrival. On the first date of arrival i got another email saying i was getting it the next day, on the next day i got a phone call saying the where having proplems with there trucks and that they did not know when i was going to get it. I told them to forget it and got charged 175 dollors for something i never got.
Amazon had the same Dewalt DW735x 13" planer with the extra knifes and the two tables for $499 woodcraft supply wanted $649 for the damp planer, after telling them that they said they would through in a stand for the extra amount. how about charging a fair price in the firs place.
So much for supporting local business. "
"I got a gift card from a family member for Christmas. I called to use the card and they said it had already been used several years ago. I told them that this was impossible since I had got the gift card after the date they claimed it was used. The customer service department gave me some excuse that due to a new computer system, they could not honor the $75 gift card. This place is a joke. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!"
"It seems to be on its way to UK...just ordered 2 days ago, very quick. The item cost about £20.00.. I have paid already extra £17 pound shipment to UK charge, £5 custom charges and broker charge of £16 quids...all in all for item worth 20 pounds I have to pay 58!!!!!!!.. absolutely insane!"
"I ordered a product that they had listed on Ebay and 4 hours after the sale went through they refunded my payment and said that they had posted the wrong price and the new and revised price was 160.00 more. They tried to get me to order again at the higher price. There is no honor in these people. People in West Virginia don't act like that.

"I ordered a Veritas honing guide, and chose 2-day shipping. On the 2nd day, I received an email indicating the product was backordered (with no indication of future arrival date.).
I canceled order via phone. This was non-trivial. The primary listed phone number for the company continually rang with a busy signal (I called countless times to inquire about my order using the number provided). It was only after I called using the number provided ONLY on the backorder email that I actually got through to a person, who immediately cancelled the order.
It is a major problem that the order is listed as in stock, and actually isn't. It's an even more major problem that a legitimate phone number is provided only after being notified that there is a problem with the order. I offered a 2nd star ONLY because they notified me the product was backordered, and the cancellation process was quick (though not available on the website, and was not provided with a valid number until I had been notified the product already been backordered. [Side note, I will be listing that number on gethuman.com, such that it may help future would-be customers.])
From what I understand from other reviews, Woodcraft is just fine when visited in person, so this review is not about that. It is about the online experience, which is--quite frankly--abysmal. Without SIGNIFICANT changes, I can only recommend that online customers stay away at all cost."
"6 days and the order still has not even shipped. I won't be doing business with them again. I have no time to make the presents I needed to make."
"Bought a drum sander with a delivery date set, needed it for a job. Was not delivered on date because of weather they said, ok. Date set for two days later, took the day off to accept delivery. No delivery again, shipper said they did not receive it. delivery date set for 4 days later, took day off again. no delivery. Delivery then dropped off in driveway by street the next day. Had to leave work to get it out of the weather. Went to assemble and order not complete. Called woodcraft and they said remaining pieces are on backorder and maybe shipped in a couple of weeks. BS, it will be over a month from expected delivery date until maybe all pieces are received. Beware, go somewhere else, unless you have the good fortune to wait months for what you need."
"I have placed several orders from Woodcraft. Never again. If I can't find what I need from another vender, I will drive 2 and half hours to the store and pick it up. Shipping costs are high, unable to track your package because they use mail intavations. Once your package goes from UPS to usps, your left guessing when it will show up. The tracking from the Wiodcraft website never works, always shows ordef can't be found. Do yourself a favor order from a more reliable place. "
"I will never place an order with this company again, I ordered 3 cyclone lids for my dust collection system, a month ago, they never shipped them and never attempted to communicate. They sell items as if they have them in stock but they don't. This company is doomed, I see bankruptcy in their near future."
"I have ordered thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from Woodcraft over the years, but the way they treated me this time, this may just be my last order. On 12/24/2014 I ordered $233 worth of items from them, many of which were knife kits and some of which were special tools you needed to drill the knife kit blanks. A week later i got half the order, with no explaination of when i might expect the rest. Three different items were now on backorder. I called a week later and found that two of the items were in stock and asked them to ship them as one of them was the bit i needed to do the knife kits i already had in hand. Two weeks later and 4 more phone calls and those two in stock items did not ship yet. Now i am told the last remaining knife kits will not be delivered to Woodcraft until March 4th and will take another week or so to get to me. Really, who the hell waits two and a half month to get an item delivered. If you dont have it in stock or close in hand, you should not offer it for sale, that way people can go buy from reputable companies that actually do have it in stock. A call to corporate customer service was completely ignored as well and they never called back. Terrible experience and even worse customer service."
"I have had similar horrible experiences with Woodcraft Supply in recent months. Never a confirming e-mail for an order. I ordered for Christmas a grinder and a sharpening jig. The grinder showed up on time. What I thought was the jig showed up on time but turned out to be a shop stool. I called and told to keep the stool and that the jig would be sent by UPS 2 day air and I should have received it on a Friday. It is Saturday and no jig and no customer service people working. I have purchased my last item from this company. I just hope it arrives someday soon. By the way the original order was before Christmas not the latest assigned to my jig and shown below."
