The worst

"Customer service not interested in resolving customer issues, and there seems to be no accountability for the manner in which customer service representative interact with customers (eg being completely nonresponsive.) Feels like interacting with people permanently stuck in high school. "

Bait and Switch

"Woot had a sale on OLED Nintendo switches for Black Friday. These were advertised as normal American switches with a 1 year warranty. On Dec 1st, after most Black Friday sales had ended and after they've shipped the order, they emailed me to inform me that it is in fact a switch for the Singapore market with no warranty, offering only a $20 credit to make up for it.

This is a pretty flagrant bait and switch, and boarders on fraudulent. It cost customers the opportunity to take advantage of other Black Friday deals, the hassle of having to return the item, and now the risk of low stocks making a switch potentially unavailable by Christmas.

I've dealt with Woot in the past, but this really destroyed my trust in them. I'll think twice before making a big purchase with them again.

Long time wooter.

"As long as you know what you need and do not require customer support: Woot is a good option for electronics, pop culture t-shirts, and tons of other random stuff that may be for sale. I have been happy with refurbished PC parts and headphones/earbuds in the past. I have also bought quite a few tees, very good quality and selection. If you need to interact with a person, good luck getting someone...I have been shopping with them for years and fortunately had only one issue. They have been owned by Amazon for the past several years so the shipping is free if you link your prime account."

Absolutely NO Customer Support

"I purchased a pair of Hue White/Color bulbs. Unfortunately the two bulbs do not put out the same colors. I matched one against an existing bulb that I owned and it matches perfectly, the other does not. I used the Woot! contact us page 3x without getting a response. They say that they respond in 24 hours. I think not. The purchase is currently being contested via Amazon Pay. I've used Woot! for a longtime and this is the first time that they have failed to stand behind their product."

Woot'en You Like to be SCAMMED Too?

"Purchased an "Apple iPhone 6+ (A1522), Scratch & Dent - (Verizon and GSM Unlocked)" on woot.com that was listed it's condition as "REFURBISHED." Received the phone and activated it on Verizon only to find that the phone's cellular data will NOT work whatsoever. We spent over 2 hours on the phone with Verizon Tech Support that could NOT get the cellular data to work. Tech sent me to the local Verizon store. Went the next day and two of the local store reps could not get data to work, even when they inserted their own SIM cards that worked fine on other iPhones. Total time we spent with Verizon techs was 3+ hours. Woot refused to replace the defective phone that NEVER worked and only offered that I return the phone, and that I would have to PAY for the shipping myself. Thus, I have to pay $26 with shipping & insurance to get a refund of the $267.49 I paid Woot for a non-functional iPhone they sold, that was defective when they sold it. Is this FRAUD? The "90 Day Woot Limited Warranty" is WORTHLESS and so is Woot.com."

Send cheaper items than I paid for, on multiple occassions

"I started using Woot this year because the prices seem good. It was a mistake so I am going to stop using them. Better stick to EBay. Often they sent lesser items than what I paid for, or defective items, and when I complained with proofs, they undercompensated with a pitiful amount.
1. They sent lesser items that what I ordered, not once but 3 times. After showing proofs, they compensated me a lot less than what the replacements cost even at lowest market prices. E.g. I ordered new 1x Breeze with controller and 3 batteries bundle; 2x Yuneec Breeze with controller and 2 batteries bundle. All I received are 1xBreeze with controller and 2x Breeze. Missing 3 batteries and 2 controllers in total! Photos and Woot's own shipping labels clearly show their package shipping weight are for basic Breeze and too underweight for bundles. Woot insisted paying only $50 refund for these 5 missing items which would cost me 3 times that much paying the lowest prices on EBay. This is not the first time it happened either. Twice before Woot shipped a lesser product than what I paid and undercompensated me, even after I provided clear proofs.

Do not buy Tv's from Woot

"Both tv's I purchased arrived broken. Supposedly refurbished??? I took the second one to a repair shop and they told me the main power supply was bad as well as a few issues with the main board. Didn't happen in shipping the box was perfect. They are just selling ****,period. "

Great service on this shipment

"Based upon my first and only purchase from Woot! so far, I have to say the experience could not have gone better. My product (Bissell Bark Bath) was priced well below prices I found anywhere else for starters, it arrived two days prior to the anticipated delivery date (within a week of the order), it was very well packaged and obviously new, and it worked exactly as it was supposed to out of the box. I also received updates by text on the shipment's progress because I signed up for them. I am leaving this review because I have read so many really bad ones that I thought I should report a good experience. I did use a credit card for this shipment as I would advise anytime purchases are made online, but I won't need their help on this one."

Do not use WOOT for gifts!

"My husband received a hoodie bought online from Woot from my sister for Christmas this past year. Nothing wrong with it, it just didn't fit his style and he said he would never wear it. I was going to return it because I had all the original packaging, tags AND receipt. I went to their website to see how I go about doing that and I was still within the time frame of "holiday returns", however it said I needed to have an email address associated with the account, so I went and created an account with Woot and then contacted their customer service department as instructed for returns. They emailed back within a few hours, and about 3 emails later, it was made clear to me that there was NO WAY I could return this product without going through the original account it was ordered on. I would have to have my sister log into her account and do the return for me. Rather than tell my sister my husband didn't like the gift she was so excited to buy for him, I am stuck with brand new men's hoodie and my husband is out a Christmas gift. When asking if there is absolutely nothing they can do for me in this situation, their reply was, "It is what it is". Would recommend NOT purchasing a gift for anyone on this website as there is really no "gift" returns and after reading their reviews online, I can't image what a normal return would look like. "

horrible customer service. refusal to refund for item that was never sent

"I ordered an item from woot for $18.75 on 12/22/2017.
two weeks went by with a status of preparing for shipment.
then, the status changed to denied.
when I asked for a refund, Woot insisted that I was never charged and told me that the case was closed- that there was nothing further they could do to help.

save your time and money and shop directly on Amazon! if you want a Woot experience like the original Woot, see Meh.com

Woot advertised 4 pallets of good, shipped 3 of them.

"I bid for 4 pallets of good on b-stock. They sent 3 pallets. I have opened a dispute. B-stock did not solve the problem.
Pallets were full of junk.
I lost almost 2/3 of my investment.
Keep away.

"Who would have thought (am I that naive?) that Amazon, who owns Woot! - and which is headquartered n=just 10 minutes from my home in Carrollton, Texas; would be selling on eBay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So here is the text of what I sent eBay in the last few minutes. I know you need no further explanation from me.

I have received this item in the last hour and expect a refund of the difference between the price I paid and the real price from Walmart - $345.44, so net refund of $112.43. The box is damaged. Two legs' paint is chipped. The table glass has scratches. "I've always had a great experience with Woot. If I'm unsure of the product I always check the community posts and they are always very helpful. Since it's just a "until we sell out" site if there is any problem they will just refund you the price, which is fine with me!"

Broken Products and Broken Promises

"I bought a refurbished Fitbit that was a Christmas present from Woot which was dead on arrival. I immediately contacted Woot and they sent me to a third-party warranty fulfillment center. I did not buy from a third-party. I bought from Woot.

I submitted a claim with the warranty fulfillment center and more than a week later I have not heard anything from them. I contacted Woot and they offered me a partial refund or I could return it for a refund. I told them that I wanted a replacement. They told me they didn't have any. I showed them a link to their parent company where they are for sale. They said that they could not do that. In other words, they had the ability to solve the problem and they chose not to.

Woot attempts self-depreciating humor in all its marketing materials, but it falls flat when it is actually true. Their customers really are suckers. Their products really are bad. They really do refuse to do their customers right.
