"I have shopped with World of Watches before, but never had to contact customer service. The only saving grace is that the watch was inexpensive, and that I can call my credit card to refuse payment. I ordered a Lucien Picard automatic skeleton watch from World of Watches on Cyber Monday. The watch arrived a few days later. I opened the package to find a watch that appears to be in good shape, but does not run. There is no seal on the crown which is fully inserted, but after rotating the watch for a few minutes as one does to start an automatic movement......I can see the flywheel moving for a few seconds and then it stops...the second hand twitches....but does not advance. Clearly the watch is defective. TRYING TO CONTACT THE COMPANY IS THE PROBLEM. i HAVE CALLED FOUR TIMES. WAITED ONE HOUR TWICE AND YESTERDAY HELD FOR OVER THREE HOURS....listening to Jazz music but no one ever answers. I check often for their online chat but it is never available during the posted hours. I also emailed the company with complete details.....Two days later I received and email telling me to have the battery changed. THIS IS AN AUTOMATIC WATCH AND HAS NO BATTERY.....I RESPONDED BUT HAVE NOT HEARD BACK AGAIN. Its to bad, because the watch was a good buy and I would like to have it. It appears my only recourse is to contact my credit card company to refuse payment. Its a hassle, and I still won't have a working watch.......FORTUNATELY THIS WATCH WAS CHEAP HAD IT BEEN EXPENSIVE I WOULD BE CONTACTING A LAWYER BY NOW."

"This was truly by far the worst experience I’ve had. Given that I received the wrong watch from what I ordered as the picture advertised on their website, I called the number listed, upon calling I was immediately forwarded to some kind of call waiting. After waiting for over 70 minutes I hung up and sent an email. 4 days later received an email from a customer service rep who asked for pictures of the watch. So far I’ve waited over a week just to get this resolved with no resolution. I will never order from here again. "
