"Caterina is a wonderful tutor. However, the web app is not easy to use. The downloads take awhile and you have to go through a multi step process to print out each one. Also if you are both communicating and a text comes to you, you're text is erased. I also have not gotten emails notifying me of messages from my tutor as well as reminders of lessons. These do not end up in my junk folder. Hopefully there will be improvements in 2017. "

"I am luckily satisfied with the Japanese tutor I've picked for my daughter. However, it was only after signing up for his services I learned that the number of the ratings shown is based on EACH lesson he's provided, but not the numbers of clients who received his services. Wyzant sends you an email requesting to rate the tutor after every single lesson. A little bit annoying. Maybe it's just me, but I felt that the rating was then misleading and does not truly reflect on overall satisfaction of the clients. Naturally if the one continues receiving a tutor's services, then that's most likely because he/she is satisfied, and therefore will continue to provide satisfactory rating increasing the average of "good" ratings, as opposed to the ratings provided by those who discontinued the service after one or a few lessons for being unsatisfied. I gave 4 stars for Wyzant because of the quality of services provided by my daughter's tutor and the convenience of the payments. "
