"Recently I purchased a home automation system and a camera security system from X-10.com
the sales representative Markus Davis has been outstanding.
Because we also purchased a camera for SABIS schools.
When we had received the camera for the school . I was so inpressd , that I contacted them for a system at my home.
Mr. Davis was so helpful, because I needed more information . not only for the schools equipment, but for my own .He really went out of his way to give me the best service.
And answer all my question.
I am so impressed with X-10.com equipment and service that I am recommending them to other people I know.
I am the maintenance supervisor at SABIS schools.
And have been a maintenance equipment technician level two for KACHINA testing laboratories for 17 years.(Aerospace industry).

PS I'm not sure about the number 839554-DM827 on my paperwork . it says order number.
But it anyone needs to contact me to verify this statement, please contact me at work or at home.

"I have bought wireless equipment "cameras immediately send back absolutely unacceptable quality 10 feet between receiver and transponder; remember I do this for a living.
RMA went flawless, got my money back, they do have some very cool gismos But you need to know what you buy, CS is useless in explanation and is pushing items on you, that you really don't need.
Ever heard of impulse shipping/
Once you order from them, you get daily e-mils claiming best new price or 48 hrs left to get on this deals etc.
I been looking at the night cam for 299+ and out of 30, marketing hypes, not a single time has this changed or other items, so do not buy into the hype.
I am satisfied probably once i open some items i still have in boxes, but i do NOT recommend any cameras or surveillance from them.
380 lines + Audio is by far worse than a 420 line Cam works way better and is clearer.
Cables come as composite, which is the absolute lowest end to transfer video signals and than gets plugged into BMC "coaxial connectors"
Do not waste you money on those items.
EDIT :
Below is also a statement to the software, which I also found to be inferior.
I just ordered multiplex items with different software for whole household autoimmunization, I do give a second chance for as long as I am treated respectfully..

"Software is delivered via internet download, that info was not sent until after the hardware was delivered...and only after I had to ask for it. Have used X10 products for years. This was the fist time I chose to take things to the next level...love the product, hate the service and the site and their animated e-mails are obnoxious!"

"I just ordered a large X10 system this morning. I made use of the chat system and Susanna K. was my sales representative. My confirmation number was #838857-KS644. Susanna was very professional and helpful. She answered numerous questions; she was very knowledgeable about the technology. Basically, she helped me make my decision to purchase from X10, when I was previously unsure whether I would buy or not. She then followed up with an email and phone. "I recently ordered a six camera security system from X10. It listed ….
“Here is what you get:”
3 ScanCam Color Cameras this is on the shipping doc
3 NightWatch Low-Light Video Cameras this is on the shipping doc
Wireless Audio/Video Receiver this is NOT on the shipping doc
Wireless Video Receiver this is on the shipping doc
Pan and Tilt Base & Ninja ScanPad Remote Control this is NOT on the shipping doc
6 Motion Sensors this is on the shipping doc
Multi-Camera Remote & Small Wireless Transceiver this is on the shipping doc
Vanguard Control Software this is NOT on the shipping doc
USB PC Capture Adapter & Wireless PC Transceiver this is on the shipping doc
Total advertised cost $1202.80
After I received the shipping doc (with a Total advertised cost of $972.81) I went back to the web site to investigate. Found a small link to “Whats Included” Total advertised cost $ 1129.80 but the list was missing the Pan and Tilt.
Called Customer service to find out why my order was missing the 3 items advertised and was informed it did not come with package but they would be happy to sell me the items I have already ordered and paid for. (See above in Here is what you get.) I ask to talk to a supervisor as I was getting nowhere. Was told supervisor would contact me with the hour. She, Lacreshia B, did (by email) telling me that she had gone to the Web site and saw nothing of the Pan and Tilt listed. She gave me a URL link to show where I ordered from. Never been there. But the Total advertised cost in the link was $1,102.80 and included everything in Here is what you get except the Pan and Tilt. I cut and pasted the original ad into the reply with URL link and sent it back. She fixed the problem by removing the Pan and Tilt from the web site but left the other two items I am missing. I never heard from X10 again. I will be disputing the credit card charge and reporting to the BBB. I fully expect to see the canned response from ****@**** that is posted in all other very dissatisfied ratings
