"For two weeks I've been waiting for delivery on a Sony camera I ordered through these crooks. There has been no answer to numerous emails and I was disconnected four times when I tried to call them. Stay away from them. They'll probably be operating under a new name any day now."

"I ordered an item which they said was in stock when I ordered it. A week later, I had still not received a shipping confirmation so I called. They said they sent me an email that said I had to call to confirm my order. No such email ever came to me. He said he would re-instate my order (which was already late for Fathers' Day). I asked point blank if it was in stock. He said it surely was. I asked that he send my an email to confirm it. He never sent it. I emailed them twice and called once again. This time they told me the item which they said was in stock an hour ago was on back order. I asked them to cancell my order and send an email confirming the cancellation. Never got the email. I emailed them once again to document that I had cancelled the order. Finally, I got an email confirmation that the order was cancelled. I would never deal with them again. Their price was the lowest, but what good is it if you don't get the item?

"These swindlers pretend they have nothing to do with DigitalDealz, the most bold-faced and rude liars I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. The mail I send to them gets answered 4 months later supposedly from Steven Carter (from a yahoo address) asking "who is DigitalDealz", and claiming he never heard of them. I wonder why the DigitalDealz voice system says "Thank you for calling the XEStore"... I wonder why when I ask the nasty DigitalDealz employees to let me speak to a higher manager, they tell me someone by the name of Steven Carter is in charge, but that he is too busy to speak with me or return any of my phone calls."

"Stay away from this place. It operates under CyberDealz, DigitalDealz, XE Store, et al.
They advertised a low price on a Sony camera, then made me call and discuss Sony rebates on accessories. They charged my credit card immediately, but never delivered anything. Later they later informed me that I'd agreed to cheap Chinese after-market accessories.
Upon hearing this I cancelled the order, but the rude DigitalDealz person on the phone argued and eventually yelled at me. He said there would be a 5% "cancellation fee." This was on a Sunday, the only day I could reach a human by phone.
I had to browse their phone system to get into their phone address book and learn the extension for the Billing Dept. (x-207 for those who need it). That put me through to a girl who looked into my problem. Each time I called, though, I was starting from square one. She said she didn't know my order had ever been cancelled.
Eventually, after two weeks of calling (at least 20 calls) I convinced a pleasant voice on the phone to refund my AmEx.
Bottom line advice: avoid all New York City camera places. After this experience, I read reviews of other people's experiences from other NYC places, and they sounded strikingly similar to mine.

"Digital dealz / acesclub / xw store did a bait and stitch on me. They would not ship a canon s45 at their online advertised price. The "kit" price sounded attractive, but what they promised in the kit was not shipped to me. I received a useless battery charger (one comes with the camera from canon) a small capacity spare battery and a cheap soft case instead of the "deluxe hard case" promised. Their customer service dept is apparently non-existant."

"Don't let the slick website and friendly offers of help fool you. Also avoid any other companies with the names of XeStore; Digitaldealz; Aces Club; Cyberdealz & I'm sure more to come.
My experience is just like those who wrote before me. Instead, I'm going to repeat some info from another reviewer.
Help others avoid this fraudulent group by copying and pasting the following into your own comment box if mine gets too far down on the page.
Also, don't just email the BBB - write, fax, call and contact other ratings sources like Bizrate; ****@**** or Dealcatcher.com. Go to Amazon and the big shopping sites for any ratings places you can find. While you're at it, contact Sony :

"STAY AWAY FROM THIS MERCHANT!!!! XeStore is a.k.a. Digitaldealz!! On Feb 18, 2003, I ordered an 'in-stock' Sony DSC-F717. On Feb 19,2003 I called them and their phone system said "XeStore" instead of "Digitaldealz" and I realized that XeStore was Digitaldealz. Then I was told that my order would be shipped in 72 hours. On Feb 23, 2003 my order was still in process and they would not ship it because I refused to buy the expensive camera kits. I cancelled my order, and within seconds I received the 'happy' cancellation email. Again, stay away!!!!! And I agree that the 4-first reviews are bogus!!!"

"ordered a canon s45 from this company. looked like a good price, but they tried to sell me an external charger for $50 extra. the canon website lists that as included in the basic s45 kit. they would not confirm the true contents of the order so i had to call back and cancel it.

"This outfit is the same as DigitalDealz.com - Do NOT, I repeat, Do NOT use these guys. Great prices listed, but don't expect to buy anything at those prices. Absolutely the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Rude. Lie. Bait and switch. Highly inlated shipping charges. If you don't want an overpriced accessory package, they won't sell you the camera at the price they advertise. If the New York's Attorney General's office doesn't know about these thieves, something is wrong. I suspect that the 4 favorable reviews below are bogus."

"I bought 3 cameras for my company. My salesemen needed some efficient digital cameras for work. So I called the store with tons of questions about the performance of the cameras. I was very impressed with the way John served me. He was able to answer ALL my questions regarding the cameras. He didn't try to sell me the most expensive camera. Instead, he suggested a model that was specifically catered to my needs. Furthermore, i asked them to FedEx it overnight to my office. Being an incompetent company, FedEx managed to mess up the order, so the cameras weren't shipped on time. I called the store and Sal answered. I explained the problem to him, and that my salesemen were on their way to a show, and that they needed the cameras, ASAP. Sal offered to deliver the cameras himself to my office in New Jersey. I NEVER had such service from a company in the past. I would STRONGLY recommend xe Store as the perfect place for all your digital needs!!
I will give them more business.

"I am posting this comment to thank one of the best companies that I have ever done business with. I was in the market for the Sony Trv 25. This camera selling for about $950 dollars almost everywhere. I've purchased camera equiptment before from the xe store so, I decided to see what they could do for me. The camera alone was backordered but, they were able to get me a kit for more money but, the kit included everything I need to operate the camera without any headaches. I also purchased the extended warrenty in which I am entitled to one free cleaning a year for my camera. If I would have purchased each item individually, I would have paid double. I had the camera fedexed overnight. I was like a little kid with a new toy. This camera is amazing. It could take still shots which I could download to my P.C. and print them!!! At first I wasn't quite sure on how to switch from the record option to the view option but, I called and spoke to Fabio from their tech department who walked me through everything. Not only did I get a great deal but, I know if I ever have any questions about the camera, I could just make a phone call. If you are in the market for cameras call them! (Just don't ask for overnight delivery, save your money and wait a few days!)
