"I ordered a pre-mod ps2 from the Xmodd.com site on Jan 2, 2005. They charged my credit card Jan 7, 2005.

It is now January 28th and I have yet to receive my order. I have not even received any status updates except "processing time is one to two weeks" and "ps2 are hard to obtain at the moment." These comments were from someone named "Tofu."???

When I ordered my pre-mod, the terms of sale said 2-7 business days. It has convienently been updated since my order. I urged them to revise their policy of charging before an order even ships and they told me that they don't have the capability to do that.

Well it's nice that I have to pay interest on my card when I never even received an item.

"I just purchased the Matrix Infinity Pre-Mod System from these guys. There was a nation wide shortage of ps2's when I order'd and they hade to go out and order all the way from Japan, and cause of that it was a little late. However, since it was late they shipped a free game along with it so you can't complain about that. It came extremely well packaged and worked like a charm. I have tried dvd+r and dvd-r media and they all work and haven't had a backup that has yet to work on it (newest back encludes Metal Gear SOlid: Snake Eater). I also went and tested some special applications that allow you to play old super nintendo and sega genisis games on it and they boot up to a cool looking screen with a sonic character on it. O did I also mention that I can watch Divx on this thing using 3rd part software? Yep, divx and xvid have both worked!
I'll vouch for this company any day.

p.s. They are on MSN all the time (I even managed to reach them on the phone to confirm something). "
