Update 11/3/04 - I received the shipment for the power supply and misc. accessories, have installed them and everything works well. I ordered some additional items, giving these guys a second chance, as this vendor is not setup like ZipZoomFly or Newegg - this vendor is a specialist site run by specialists in mods. They do have an excellent selection on their website for what they do, I especially like the forums section and their X hour deal concept. I ordered a Belkin game controller, some thermal compound and a VGA card cooler. Great selection of products for these. I ordered them at app. noon CST, 2 day air, and they shipped today. I will update this review when I get them in. Good job, Xoxide!
Update 11/2/04 - The power supply and other material has been shipped out and Will with Xoxide responded to my email yesterday, Monday, 11/1/04 with the shipping information and an apology, so they do respond to emails (albeit it took a couple of days to do so). I am expecting no further problems, as they have been rated for the most part highly by other customers.
Orininal Post 10/29/04 - I purchased a computer case with a couple of upgrades (2 cathode uv tubes and a serial ATA adapter) and a power supply from this company on Saturday, October 23rd, 2004. I received a confirmation of the order and a separate email showing that they were all shipped (happy so far). I received the shipment on Thursday, October 28, 2004 (a week to ship a case?? not so good). The shipment did not include the power supply or upgrades as indicated in the shipment email. I called and left a voice message and emailed Thursday night to inquire about the missing items, to which I did not get any response. I called them today, Friday, October 29, 2004 and talked to a service rep. She handled our conversation pleasantly, and explained that the case was drop shipped and that the other material in my order had not shipped yet (contrary to the email that I got from them). She told me that the other items are to have shipped today (were they out of stock?? or did they misship my order?? don't know and she did not tell me any reason for not getting my order), which she indicated that I would recieve a confirming email about. I have not received this email yet, so I am assuming that they did not ship. I told her that I needed the items still outstanding this weekend, as I am building a system for a client (not very happy by now). She indicated that there was nothing she could do about that (in a pleasant tone, telling me that they would not 'go the extra mile', as I would call it)."
"Fast shipping I got it nexty day I love how they use the USPS because they use priority mail. I also live in Philly so thats why I got it next day. I have ordered from them in the past and they have excellent customer support. Once they were delayed in shipping to me for two weeks so they called me and let me know that they were adding some extra stuff to make up for it. And what did I get? I got two extra case fans, a second cathode light and one of those electric ropes. Sure I wasn;t happy it was delayed but they proved to me that they cared it was later and added stuff to my order without me hassling them or anything.
