"I bought a restored GM Throttle body from XtremeFI February of 2012. It's a base only, bead blasted, inspected, and bearings in the throttle shaft. It developed a vacuum leak this past week so I disassembled to inspect for wear. Come to find out the unit does not have bearings in the throttle shaft. I'm very disappointed to say the least. Other than being bead blasted, it's no different than the one I pulled from the junk yard.
Will never use them again. "
"Biggest A**holes on E-Bay! Do not purchase any products from them. The first unit I received was so pitted it looked like they dragged it from under the ocean to rebuild! Then they refused to refund any of the overnight shipping charges for the crappy unit they sent that not only arrived a day late but missing parts! And Paypal does not provide any protection regarding shipping charges. These A**holes manipulate the system and threaten you when you are dissatisfied and their workmanship sucks. For all the expense I've put out I could have gotten a new B&M or Holly throttle body"
"This company did not refund my core deposit and kept my core. Beware of this company."
"This seller sold me a defective item and then would not provide a replacement or refund. This is the type of seller that does everything that is possible to skirt around the rules and guidelines of eBay. Feedback blackmail, Paypal manipulation, and contact outside of the eBay system just to name a few. Stay away from Xtreme-fi since if you don't get what you paid for you will not got anything and lose your money as I did. Also don't fall for the same scam at www.xtremefi.com/."
"Great seller with fast shipping and competitive pricing. Workmanship and finish was top notch. I actually ordered the wrong part for my application and these guys caught my error before shipping. A quick email and everything was straightened out. Went back and bought a Vortec throttle body a week later.... and again, all was professional and prompt. Top notch in my book. Thanks xtreme"
"ebay item# 260121001728
Unit defective. Seller only gives 7 days to exchange, but incloses an instruction form that expects you to run your engine for 10 to 20 hours for idle to smooth out. GM Hummer H2 DIC kept on indicating REDUCED ENGINE POWER even after resetting the control unit memory. Almost impossible to meet 7 day deadline and still follow their instructions. Seller would not answer their phone or return phone calls. Seller would delay email response so as to delay the exchange, which (by the way) is exchange ad infinitum. Still haven't received the replacement if I ever do, and if it is indeed a different unit or the old one returned untouched. Seller appears to not care about customers and does not offer a refund through eBay or PayPal. Which means that eventually the exchange costs will equal or exceed the original price. Advise not to do business with this dealer."
