"Purchased a Samsung notepro on 17/8/2015 paid through direct deposit.
Yatango was not able to meet delivery so cancelled order after 3 weeks.
Did not receive refund so asked for proof of refund.
Yatango provided a false proof of refund payment which they claimed they refunded on 22/9/2015 through PayPal with a unrelated much earlier refund date.
When put evidence through to them they then requested for my bank account details to make refund payment.
After providing my bank account details I still have not received my refund for item purchased over 2 months ago where Yatango are ignoring my email requests and not responding.
From multiple product review sites and forums on the internet where buyers with similiar issues where Yatango have not been able to deliver an item purchased and refusing to refund payment it would indicate that this is not an isolated incident where not only is Yatango dishonest it is also bordering on criminal behaviour that should not be tolerated by any major online seller.
I will be lodging a complaint with Consumer Affairs, Office of fair trading to recover the refund and also writing to Choice magazine to alert them of this so that no other Consumers get caught in Yatango's dishonest and criminal behaviour. "
"I ordered a nexus 9 tablet on July 3rd and watched as the status went from pending to verified within a day or so. The status then remained ‘In Fulfillment’ for about 3 weeks. During that time I contacted live support who assured me that it is still due to ship on time since the estimated processing time was up to 15 business days. Each time I had to contact them it took about 30 minutes to get my order status update. After the 3 weeks when I finally contacted them again I was told there was an issue in the warehouse and the item hasn’t shipped; this was obviously a delay tactic. When I asked when they expect to ship the item I was told they can’t provide a date. I thought this was ridiculous especially since my credit card was charged the day I made the order. I demanded a refund which luckily didn’t take as long as I expected it would so I didn’t have to contact my credit card company. I would never order from them."
"Yatango are useless. And they don't have stock of anything. They pretend like they have a warehouse, but they actually don't. When you place an order, they keep your money for as long as they can, that way they make interest on your money for a month, and in the meantime price of the phone you ordered go down in HongKong so their profit margin increases. This is how Yatango can offer prices lower than everyone else. Stay away from them if you can – you won't see your phone for at least a month, generally speaking. If you do, it's a total fluke.
If you want your phone quickly, you might as well cancel your order with them now. And don't believe their BS where they say they have to process the cancellation for 2 days – that's BS too. Get angry and you can get it back same day."
