"Now, one would not typically expect a young, dark-skinned African-American woman to get as much value shopping from a website that caters to all things Asian beauty. Yet, I can testify that Yesstyle is a wonderful resource for excellent products. I am a skincare JUNKIE, and after discovering the glorious MissDarcei on YouTube, I knew that I had to make the transition to Asian skincare. I am NEVER going back. Yesstyle offers a wide variety of cleaner, more affordable beauty products than most American outlets. I'm still finding my optimal lineup for the ten-step Korean skincare routine, but my skin has improved in many regards.

I haven't tried any of the beauty products, yet, but my most recent order features an Innisfree primer that I'm excited to try out. I obviously cannot delve into the complexion products (dark-skinned black girl, HELLO), but that's fine because I know there aren't many people in Asia with my complexion. However, I do know that there are plenty of darker-skinned Asian men and women. I've NEVER seen any representation of them on the site. That's incredibly disheartening. I truly believe that this issue needs to be resolved IMMEDIATELY.

As for the fashion, I adore it! I've only purchased one dress. I got it in a medium (which is what I usually wear in F21, but I've been eating too many cookies, lately). I got a few wears out of it, but I had to throw it away when it started to rip and tear. Definitely not the fault of the clothing's quality; it was thick and soft fabric. The dress was just a little too small for me in the chest/shoulder area, and I was too lazy to go through the return process. Don't go dancing in a too-small dress, boys and girls! It's also important to note that many clothing items only come in one size. This is not a one-size-fits-all situation; just a one-size-fits-small. I don't even bother daydreaming about those items. It's obvious that Asian markets cater to thin, fair-skinned Asian men and women. I don't need them to cater to me because I'm home in America. HOWEVER, they should definitely do more to cater to Asian men and women of larger sizes and darker complexions. They DO EXIST. Moral of the story is, YES for all things skincare, and be meticulous and realistic when shopping for beauty and fashion items. I do love Yesstyle, though!"
