"I purchased an island venthood through ebay from this company and was initially pleased as the item was a very good price. Buyer beware! This item was listed as new/other- a floor model with minor scratches and dents. However, I wanted to wait for the contractor to completely unpack the entire unit so that I wouldn't damage it in any way prior to install and trusted that the item description. When we were finally able to install the unit we found that there were two major dents in the hood, it was used (greasy and smelled of fish), and was missing installation brackets and screws. I contacted the company to get a replacement or a refund of some kind and was completely brushed off. Because they did not have to work with me, they were not going to. I would be VERY cautious before purchasing ANY product from this company!"

"Although these look good online and the prices are better than the higher end hoods...we had a tuff time with the installation. We received the wrong screws so had to make a trip to the store. Upon calling the help line and waiting hours and then contacting them again they said that they do have problems with the screws and on the online video it says you may have to get different ones than what was shipped. After hours upon hours of installation time when we finally got the island hood up and got the protective cover off the stainless there is a small dent in the chimney part. Also the baffles fit so loosley on the vent we are afraid they may fall out and damage our cooktop. We are only hoping that the unit truely works when all the wiring is connected and we turn it on. "
