"I love this company! Free shipping both ways is just the start. I got a bad shoe - the heel broke on the third wearing. They not only shipped me a new pair and emailed me the RMA for the broken shoes, they emailed me to let me know they received the return....NObody does that. :) "

Order 129165541, I ordered Roxy boardshorts in BIG GIRLS SIZE MEDIUM (8/10). What I received was the "little girls" size medium (size 4) instead of the "big girls" size medium.
I called yesterday as soon as I received them and spoke with Shaea…she was very nice, did an exchange for me and said she even put a note in their for the manager to check the next shipment to make sure they put the correct size.

Today, I receive order 129244041 - and they sent me the wrong size AGAIN! They sent the exact same pair in the exact same little girls size medium

Attached are pics of the sheets inside the BOTH of the boxes that clearly show THE WRONG ITEM. It clearly shows "Girls size 2-6X"…they got BOTH orders wrong!!

Does NO ONE there check the actual orders against what is placed in the box?


This is my first - and last - purchase from Zappos.

"I ordered shoes at Zappos and received them within 5 business days. They look dirty and worn. it's obvious that someone has returned them. There is even slight discoloration on the front of the right pair. it looks like someone has tired to clean it up and ruined the color slightly. It's a shame to resell used dirty shoes! what are you? and out of closet shop? I am going to return them and buy them again somewhere else. I will never shop at Zappos again! !"

"I will NEVER order from Zappos again. Last fall, I tried to place an order with Bill Me Later. Their system failed. The ENTIRE customer service team (REALLY???) was at a team-building retreat and so there was no one to help place an order. How ridiculous.

And isn't processing an online order fundamental to their business? Why on earth should I need assistance????

I should be able to place my order quickly and get on with the rest of my day. I shouldn't have to waste my time telling them what's wrong with their process--so that I can pay their salary.

After a terse note to customer service, I was given a $25 credit but no resolution to the ordering problem.

I tried to order a pair of sandals yesterday and had the same issue. Their 'customer service' online chat person told me that the issue was with BML and that I should solve their problem by contacting BML. Not likely.

I went over to Zappos' 6PM site and it managed to process the order with BML. So, not my problem as Zappos conveniently decided.

An email to customer service resulted in the same ridiculous recommendation: I should spend my time solving their problem.

In the end, I did not place the order through 6PM. I am soured to Zappos completely--and that includes their badly-reviewed sister company. They do not respect me or my time. In fact, they waste my time providing feedback to their problems that they push back to me.

So, I am happy to pay a premium to any company who can do something as fundamental as process my order. Why is that so difficult?

I am sure I sound irritated. I am. I hate badly managed businesses. Any online company that cannot process an online order in 2012 should rightly be out of business. And their issues should definitely not be made into my problem. Businesses run like this lose customers--they have surely lost me.

I am doing what is appropriate: taking my business elsewhere.

Although you will pay higher prices than a less expensive on-line store, you will be treated w/total respect, receive free shipping both ways, have merchandise availability guaranteed & get your items in record time. There are numerous pictures of each item, every angle along w/videos for most items. This is a store w/personality & obviously employees that enjoy their jobs. No post purchase dissonance shopping w/Zappos.com. "

"Inwould take Their reviews with a grain of salt. Apparently they don't post reviews that are even mildly critical of them. I reviewed a pair of ahoes and their servic, specifically their returns. They must not have liked it because it was never posted. I wonder how many others they censored?"

"I have bought several pairs of shoes at Zappos and been more than satisfied with there product and service. Although I have had to return several pairs of shoes, it has been no fault of their product, it is just difficult to buy shoes online that fit perfectly. I am wearing a pair of Aldo heels I bought thru Zappos today as I write this. I have also purchased clothes, a purse and some kitchen appliances. My only issue has been with the shipment of Fagor Pressure Cooker Set, upon delivery it was cracked and had broken pieces. That was due to the way it was packaged and of course the delivery company. I know this happens occasionally so I place very little blame on Zappos. Now if it happens again, I will have an issue. In general Zappos has been great and their customer service is AMAZING!!! I love the youthful approach they have taken with the marketing and service. Try Zappos, you will not be dissapointed :)"

"I have ordered many things from Zappos (mostly shoes). I have NEVER been disappointed. The customer service is awesome and so are the products. I recommend Zappos to anyone who is looking for shoes. "So I've bought my last 8 or so pairs of shoes from Zappos.com because they have a great selection with my size usually available. Zappos usually charges more than most stores, but they have free 2-day shipping (free next day for VIPs) and I like their customer service. Most recently I ordered an awesome pair of Asics Onitsuka Tigers (the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn). They were supposed to come with an extra pair of laces, but when I received them I noticed they were already laced up and there wasn't an extra pair. I figured they were returns but i didn't mind since they still looked brand new. So I emailed Zappos to see if i could just get the extra pair of laces. They got back to me and said they don't pride themselves in poor service like that (don't be so hard on yourself) and they were going to send me a whole other pair of shoes that included the extra laces and I could keep the ones I had. They totally reinforced my reasons for buying all my shoes from them. I am a Zappos customer for life!

Update: One day later, I received another email from Zappos.com letting me know that a "glitch in the system" made it impossible for the free pair of shoes to be shipped so the order was cancelled and I will get a refund for $0. This is extremely upsetting because the shoes are still available on the site and to me, making broken promises to a customer is lying. I've updated my rating to reflect how my experience was affected by the recent events.
