"The item (Linear AE-100 commercial telephone entry system) arrived in good time and in good condition, but the good condition was in spite of rather than because of Zbeem's wholly inadequate packaging. The inner (manufacturer's) box was loose inside Zbeem's box, with only one piece of paper (flat, not even crumpled) as packaging material, and was free to move about inside the Zbeem box. The Zbeem box arrived with one corner well crushed, as if it had been dropped on that corner. The manufacturer's box also had the corresponding corner crumpled, but the ample Styrofiam blocking on all corners and edges absorbed the impact and prevented any damage to the AE-100. Somebody in Zbeem's shipping department needs some serious remedial training in packaging techniques!

Zbeem then (and still does, as of this review) offered free shipping on orders over $300, using code "OVER300SHIP". Problem (and confusion) was, there was no place during the checkout procedure to enter that code. Turns out that it had to be entered in the cart before beginning the checkout procedure, and once the checkout procedure was started, there was no going back and entering the code. When I called Zbeem customer service to tell them that there was no place to enter the code during the checkout process, they got back to me in a few minutes to explain that the code had to be entered into the cart before checking out and to offer to refund the shipping charge (which they subsequently did.) Now THAT is 5 star customer service!

Bottom line: Zbeem gets 5 stars for the item, 2 stars for their packaging of the item (up from 1 star because the item at least stayed in the Zbeem box), and 5+ stars for customer service."

Not only did you have one, it is perfect for our business, where we often don't know whether our required alarm will be triggered by a logic high, logic low, B+, or a ground signal.
