"Searching Pricewatch.com for an LG Electronics DVD+/-RW 16X Mulitformat, Dual Layer
Drive, Model GSA-4167B, my pick fell on the Zeehoo.com store located in California. I couldn't find the same product on eBay or at least one that would match the price offered by Zeehoo.com at that time. I bought a bulk version of the product, which cost me $42.48 with FedEx ground S&H included, and then I paid with PayPal. For some reason, I've never received a status update email from Zeehoo which was supposed to contain the tracking number, but I called the customer support, and the representative was kind to provide me with the tracking number over the phone. The item arrived in NY in about a week after placing the order and works great now. If it came to buying from Zeehoo again, I would definitely make another purchase from this seller.

"ordered. got a call from customer service (pretty good guy too) and said their policy didn't allow different shipping and billing address (which i don't particularly like but it's their policy). canceled the order, 2 or 3 days later, got the email and cancelation. will do business again."

The box and the packing slip was marked Beyond Micro inc.

"I placed an order 09/13, receeived invoice confirmation right away.

My CC was charged 09/16 so as per their "Terms of Service" this would indicate my item shipped within 24 hours.

Waited a week, had heard nothing, emailed them to ask for a tracking number, still haven't heard anything.

It's now 09/28 and I still haven't heard anything from them.

I just sent them another email, to ask yet again for a tracking number.

In addition to this, the price for the item I ordered over two weeks ago is now $8 cheaper, so I asked them for a refund on the difference as well.

Still waiting to hear back.


Avoid this place at all costs, their low prices do not make up for their shoddy business practices.


Update:
09/30 and still waiting for *any* response from them, have yet to hear a single word ...

"Called to be sure the Pioneer DVR-106 Was in stock was told it was and would be shipped next day and an e-mail sent on shipment. Ordered it via web site ($5.00 surcharge over phone) and was charged on my CC. Next day still no E-mail called on day after that. Was told of problems with getting the DVD burner and that I would be upgraded to 2 day air shipment. Checked e-mail next day and it WAS being shipped 2 day air. They even sent the tracking link. Got the external drive set up on Monday and it looks and works good. Price was good and the 2 day shipment more or less made up for the card being charged befor shipment."

"Had problems from the start. They don't have an online credit card verification system, numbers are entered manually. Also, item was of cheap quality, I guess you get what you pay for. I call customer service and left a message, guy doesn't call back, (probably wants to avoid me). Customer service treated me like a fool, putting me down, etc. No way am I ever shopping here again."

"I was a little nervous ordering from Zeehoo.com from the previous reviews. Despite that, I was very happy with the service and merchandise. I ordered a Pioneer DVD-105 and it arrived the following day (overnight shipping). It was exactly what I ordered and installed like a charm. I am very pleased with Zeehoo's service. "I ordered a DVD drive in black from these guys. Not only did I not get black,they sent me a different (cheaper) model by same
manufacturer because they didn't have what I wanted in stock. Although the differences may not have been important to them, not getting what you order is a basic
sign of a dishonest merchant.
When I told them it was wrong they said it is the same thing.I pointed out that if it was the same thing they would not have both on their website and I would not be getting charged for a more expensive item on my order receipt
but taking delivery of a cheaper item at THE SAME PRICE!
After telling them I would not pay
since I had proof of their screw up (ripoff) to show my credit card issuer they agreed to take it back.However they did not issue a
full refund for shipping.
I took it up with my card issuer and they had no choice but to see it my way.
I could easily say use them at your own risk but why?
There are so many good places to shop online why bother with these
dishonest children?
This was also my worst online shopping experience.

"Purchased a Pioneer 104 DVD Recordable in a Firewire external case. Good quality and no problems with delivery or the unit. Make sure to specify the type of Firewire cable! (6-6 or 4-6 pin) I believe it comes by default with 4-6 pin. Also note the cable is 3 feet which limits its use."
