"I've been a ZenFolio user for over ten years, coming over from SmugMug. Each iteration of their web software seems to lose sight of the basic functionality for a photographer portfolio / selling site. Recently, I received an order from a customer with no street address in the shipping address. Luckily I was able to call her from the supplied phone number, and get the needed info. I went into the site as a guest, and duplicated the error -- when I added a product to the shopping cart and tried to check out, there was NO STREET ADDRESS field at all.
It used to work; now it doesn't. This is a real show-stopper during this most important selling season.
I contacted ZF through the support menu contact form, and as of 24 hours later, have not heard a peep. There is no mention of this bug, or how to fix it in the support documents.
ZF used to have a user forum. This too is gone the way of the dodo. I have no idea when they did away with it, but it's gone.
I'm actively looking for another platform that allows me to setup galleries for selling fine art.
On another note, I keep getting notices from PayPal that my ecommerce implementation is out of date. Since the only implementation I have is through ZenFolio, I can only assume that PayPal is referring to the ZenFolio installation.
They have also taken to archiving older images -- which may work well for a wedding or event photographer, but for a fine art photographer, this means that some galleries will just... disappear ... Again, not the best solution for speeding up what has historically been a rather poky site.

"I compared Zenfolio with several other sites, each of which had free trial periods. The ease of use of completing my portfolio and added marketing tools eventually helped me to choose Zenfolio as the new home for my photography business. The only drawback is that the signup special did not apply to monthly payments, only for annual subscription, which makes absolute sense, however if I would have been able to take advantage of this savings even on a monthly basis as I am starting out, I would have given 5 stars."
