"When I use zentai suits for costumes, I want them skintight, no wrinkles. I've had 3 years of frustration trying to get ones that fit right--even bought a serger thinking I'd just have to make them myself. Most vendors won't take a full set of custom measurements, and those that do, seem not to pay attention to them, or not to understand how to translate body measurements into fabric measurements.

I carefully took my measurements to order one made-to-measure stretch velvet zentai suit from Zentaizone, with mods. Then I read the reviews online, and they were terrible! I wouldn't have placed the order, but I'd already taken all those measurements, which I couldn't use any other place.

So I placed the order, on Oct. 15. My suit arrived Nov. 19, just about as expected. The fabric looked and felt great, no smell. The mods were all correct. I turned the suit inside-out to go over the load-bearing seams with seam sealant (which you should do with any new costume, as costume stitching is notoriously loose at the ends of serged seams), and they look great--everything is serged neatly, except the zippers and the fingers, which shouldn't be serged.

I put the suit on, and it fit as well as anything I have. There's some slack along the body line, but that's always a problem area because fitting butts and hips can't be done from measurements. It's a little bit tight in the circular measurements perpendicular to the body and limbs, especially the fingers, which are too tight and just a bit short. But overall, it's a good fit."

"Made an order and specified I needed it done for a certain date. It wasn't until a couple days the finally respond saying they got my order and file. I sent them the print file through wetransfer and I get a notification email saying the file has yet to be downloaded, and after a certain amount of days the file will disappear. This puts me into a panic and I contact them saying to cancel my order as it's already pressed for time and if they haven't even looked at the file I would rather get it done somewhere else. They say they would issue me a refund, but days pass and nothing came. So I finally had to open a paypal dispute to get my money back. Took an overall 2 weeks of my time when I could have gone somewhere else. Customer Service is unprofessional and lacking, never ordering from here and don't recommend others to."

"Seemed ok but when suit arrived it smelt like smoke. Not bad but the biggest thing was it wasn't spandex fabric. It was a nylon stretch fabric but had a horrible feel to it much like tracksuit pants. Not at all like bike shorts which is assumed when u buy spandex clothing. Customer service seemed ok but didn't want to talk to me after I paid. I wouldn't buy from here again!!!"
