"I ordered an inexpensive SD card from ZipZoomFly, and I received an order confirmation, as well as a shipping notice. They said my order had shipped. A few days later I called up, and customer service said the thing was back-ordered, along with a queue of 600 other customers. I consider sending me a tracking number without having the item in stock to be a fraudulent business practice, so I would not order from them again."

On April 2, I placed my order for a Corsair 2GB 133X Secure Digital Memory Card for $69.99, free shipping with a $20 Corsair rebate. Sweet deal, I thought, though the ratings for this company were abysmal. But how could they screw up a data card, right?
On April 4, my credit card was charged, and I received an email from ZipZoomFly stating, "ORDER NO.Z3386308 HAS BEEN SHIPPED OUT...This e-mail is to inform you that your order has been shipped out." I got a FedEx tracking number from the link in my ZipZoomFly account.
Upon viewing my FedEx tracking information, I found that the card had not actually been shipped out. The only information in my tracking history was, "Apr 3, 2006 8:23 PM ...Package data transmitted to FedEx"
Those skunks! They generated a tracking number for a NONEXISTENT PACKAGE!!! For all I know, the card is still in Asia. Mind you, the rebate "clock" is still ticking, and the device I plan to put the card in arrived today (April 8).
Here is the kicker: I cannot cancel my order!!! Even though it has not shipped! How stupid do they think we are? And so, I have three options:
1. Wait patiently for the card and hope it makes it in time for my rebate.
2. Wait patiently for my card and return it, paying a 15% RESTOCKING FEE.
3. Call my credit card company and dispute the charge.
I opt for #3. How can they operate like this? What a waste of everybody's resources.
Meanwhile, NEWEGG has a weekend sale on a card that has no rebate yet costs less than the one I tried to buy from ZipZoomFly IF the rebate is factored in. Yes, $43.99, with $4.81 shiping. It is a slower card, but not too slow for my device or the camera I own.
Do yourself a favor: Go directly to NEWEGG. Do not try ZipZoomFly first!!! "

"Buying the product was easy, receiving it was much more difficult. I purchased a power supply on the March 30th. I also placed an order at Newegg within a half an hour of this order. I had my orders shipped to my work address and I have the address on file with my credit card company. Newegg had my order to me on April 3rd. Zipzoomfly chose to still verify my address, Newegg did not and this delayed the processing of my order. On top of that, I choose business delivery when placing my order and Zipzoomfly choose to ship it Fedex home. It is currently out for delivery today, Saturday April 8th, to bad there is noone to accept it because they shipped it home delivery. Now, because Fedex home delivery does not work on Mondays, I will not receive my order until Tuesday April 11th, a full two weeks after I placed the order. This in my eyes is unacceptable and I should have ordered this product from Newegg and paid the extra 6 dollars they were charging for it. I will not be purchasing from ZipZoomFly in the immediate future."
"Well, I ordered a 2GB SD memory card for my camera. It looks like this will be my first and last purchase from ZipZoomFly. They say the order has shipped, but FedEx has only received the package data, no further updates available. ZipZoomFly said it would be here Wednesday, didn't get here. Didn't come Thursday or today (Friday) either. Stay away from these clowns!
(Update 4/17/06) I received the order last Wednesday, but it was still almost a week late.

"The worst customer service ever! I was sent the wrong part and was kindly offered refund with a 15% restock fee plus I get to pay for shipping. Would not even drop the restocking fee if the dorrect part was ordered. CS number goes straight to voice mail and email response take two days! Just stay away from these jokers."
"Ordered 2 19" Viewsonic LCD monitors for $715. Their site said "in stock". 6 days later it still has not shipped. They charge your credit card and then mark your item as "Packed" to prevent you from canceling online. When you call you only get voicemail telling you to leave a message which is never returned. My item has been "Packed" for 4 days now! Must be some good packing! If you want your item shipped fast go to Newegg or Buy.com. I ordered a different monitor from Buy.com on the same day as my Zipzoomfly purchase and it was at my door 3 days later."
