"We have used this company for many years, way back to the googlegear days. Their customer service has been getting worse every year. Each time we order with them, they request that we call in to their verification department to give them our information over the phone. They constantly claim that our delivery address is not on file with the credit card, even though the delivery address is the billing address for the credit card that we use. None of the other web stores have any problem with our cards, and we place orders once or twiice a week.
We have spent over $50,000 with them in the last 5 years, but we will never order from them again. For this last order they sent an email to us asking for a purchase order, and copy of our company letterhead, and they wanted a fax of my signature. I called them up and told them they were crazy, but they would not relent so I canceled my order and placed it with newegg.com. It came in today and I am very satisfied. If zipzoomfly does not want our business there are others that will be glad to take it.

"My son had a good experience with ZipZoomFly, and I was referred to ZipZoomFly by Corsair, the manufacturer of the memory modules that I wanted. ZipZoomFly had the lowest prices of the retail stores that Corsair recommended and initially 2-day shipping was free. For a couple of weeks I watched and compared ZipZoomFly's prices with those other retailers and ZipZoomFly's prices remained the lowest. When ZipZoomFly discounted their prices a few dollars, I ordered. By that time, the 2-day shipping incentive was past but free 5-7 day shipping was still available. I placed my order late on the 16th; it was picked up by FedEx on the 17th and delivered to me on the 21st for a four day shipping time.

ZipZoomFly's site was easy to use. I was able to create more than one shipping cart and save them. I logged-on daily (or more often) to check whether prices changed. When they did, I simply continued the check-out process with the cart of my choice. After my order, my eMail account received notification of the transaction. When my order was shipped, I received notification with a FedEx tracking number, and FedEx eMail-notified me of the complete shipping process including delivery after I received my order. Everything was smooth, easy, and trustworthy. I intend to shop at ZipZoomFly again in the future.

"STAY AWAY!!! They make you click ok and read their terms and conditions regarding restocking fees (15%) for one reason...so they can charge you. Bottom line is I ordered RAM that was right specs and confirmed by Dell support. RAM didnt work and ZipZoomFly said the only way I could get a full refund is to order a more expensive RAM and hope that it does the trick. I am extremely experienced at building and upgrading computers and I only write reviews if the services is extremely good or abhorrently bad. Horrible business practices...shop somewhere else!!!"

"Purchased Sandisk Cruzer Titanium 2GB.

Product died on the first night I used. This is probably an issue with the product itself and not zipzoom fly.

Going through RMA procedure now. Hopefully, it goes smoothly.

RMA went smoothly. Product got to them on 4/3/06. RMA replacement shipped 4/5/06. What more can I say?

"The customer service for this store is slow, rude, and don't have a clue. When she couldn't answer a question, just "accidentally" hang up, twice. One rep has very thick S.Asian accent, cannot understand what she is talking about. She is unable to understand what I was asking neither.

My two orders were placed 3/12/2006, and sit in processing state for a long time. After calling the customer service, the shipping day given is "possibly" 3/28 or later, the rebate will expire by then. But the store cannot answer why the parts take such a long time. It is not out of stock. Just "accidentally" hung up.

"Ordered a 5.1 speaker system, which arrived on time, but one of the speakers was defective. I wanted to exchange so I requested a RMA and waited a couple days for a reply but got nothing. Their website says RMAs are responded to within 48 hours. Tried calling but was put on hold for 10 minutes so I just left a message but never got a call back. Then I tried emailing and finally got a reply saying they never received my RMA. So I requested another RMA and waited 4 days and never got a reply. Their prices are good but the customer service is horrible."

"Compared to Newegg, ZZF is a bit slower in processing and shipping orders. Their prices are generally a bit higher too, but they offer free 2-day shipping on most items to balance it out. Unfortunately for me, since I live in California, I get charged slightly more tax because of the higher prices. In the end, ZZF is a bit pricier and it takes longer for me to get my packages. On the plus side, they use Fedex while Newegg uses UPS."

"On 2006-03-05, I bought a Promise FastTrack TX2300 SATA RAID controller. The price included 2-day FedEx shipping and came on time. On 2006-03-15, I bought a Seagate Barracuda 80GB SATA hard drive. The price included 2-day FedEx shipping and came on time. Both packages were very well packed. The hard drive was in a specially made foam case to hold the drive in place. Foam peanuts were also used."
