"I ordered a sound card which was defective. They charged me a restock charge for the defective item. When I contacted them assuming they errored, they indicated they charge 15 percent restock for defects. Thats outrageous. I let them know I had to go out and purchase a sound card and cables locally so I could determine if their card was bad. To make it worse they will not credit for return freight.
Their policy is self-serving, unreasonable and not clear to the buyer. Informed purchasers should stay far away from this shady dealer. A good price is not so good if you get screwed along the way. "

"I placed an order 9/19/06 at about 6:30PM for an 4 500Gb hard drives (items that were in stock). I received a suspiciously accented e-mail (if you know what I mean) about 18 hours later explaining that I needed to contact them to verify security on the credit card used (the billing and shipping address were identical, everything was keyed in correctly, I supplied the bank's toll-free number as requested when setting up the account). They claimed to be unable to reach my by phone, but I reveied no voicemail nor did I see any calls listed in my caller ID. I immediately replied, but the order still didn't ship for another 2 days (no phone calls were made to the, I basically just told them to call the d!@# bank if they had any questions). Frustrating--though I did get the drives and they appear to be Okay. It took several days longer than it should have and they didn't expedite shipping. When I basically sent them a follow-up WTF message, asking why I should do business with them next time, I received no response (it's been over a week). I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess that something's happened--their ratings have nose-dived and I'm not itching to plunk more coin down with these guys until that changes."
"It was the worst online experience I have ever had. Paid for 2-day shipping, then at 7:36Pm the next day I got a email asking me to call the "Verification Center" - NON toolfree. After two call (got voice mail), I finally got a return call the person transfered me to the same voice mail system. I called the main number (non tollfree) and after a silent wait got someone that I ask to cancel my order.
Ask to be transfered to supervisor (got voice mail) - left message - no callback so far.

"Horrible experience. I ordered a Corsair Power Supply from zipzoomfly.com online. Received an email that they had processed my order and billed me. I checked my order status online the next day and it said my order was packed and ready to be shipped. 3 days later I get an email from them saying the product is out of stock and they canceled my order. They also said it would take 7 days to get my refund. These guys totally stole my money for a week. They never even contacted or asked me about anything. They just informed me what they were doing. Sorry zipzoomfly, but I will never even go on your website again!"
"This sell has good prices and great items. But their shipping dept. needs some work. I placed an order on Friday, Sept 29th, and it was finally shipped Tue, Oct 3rd.
Another problem I'm having is that I was charged $5 more than what the item's page says.

"I am very disappointed with ZipZoomFly. After three weeks, two emails, and at least six phone calls. I finally cancelled my order with them and placed the order with Provantage.
Multiple times they told me that the item shipped or will ship tomorrow. I understand that "things happen", I just don't appreciate being lied to.

I've bought a lot of stuff from zipzoomfly and had no real issues until my latest order. They took my money immediately but my order remained in "processing" status. Despite two calls to customer service I received no reply. This was the recommended way to get "faster service".
According to their site, can only cancel the order online but there is no cancel button to allow that. When I finally get hold of a human, I'm given the run around saying but "our web site says". Well, for every one of those I can find some information on their site that contradicts what the customer service rep told me was the case.
Not friggin happy. I've cancelled my order and lost 4 days in the process. Now I have to wait another couple of days for my money back!

"I recently purchased a Coolermaster case STC-T01 CM Stacker ZipZoomfly part number 141623 (http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=141623) from ZipZoomfly, a sub-company of XtraPlus Corporation.
Under the feature and benefits section of their online ad, the case description included "Side Window(SPB-S01-E1) Translucent window for best inside view Anodizing and hair line process for excellent aluminum surface finish." Prior to ordering the case, I called their customer service department to verify that the case indeed did come with this side door. The man that answered checked the ad and assured me that it did. I received the case yesterday and found that it had the standard side door and not the one as advertised. I contacted customer service at zipzoomfly and have been told that the door was an option and that the case came with a standard door. I have saved the web page(in case it suddenly changed) and it clearly lists the door as one of the "features and benefits" of the case. Nowhere in the ad does it mention that the door is an option. I requested that they send me the door as advertised and was told that all they would do was RMA the case for a refund. That was not acceptable as I purchased the case "as advertised" which included the see-thru door. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was put on hold. After a few minutes a female picked up the phone and abruptly said NO and slammed the phone down. The phone must not have set properly because I could still hear conversations going on in the background. No one ever picked up the phone after several minutes of my listening to the employee chatter.

The customer service agent of ZipZoomfly whose name I believe is “******” at ext ****, called and left a message saying that since the manufacturer didn’t include the side-door in question with this case, all Zipzoomfly would do is take the case back and refund my money. I consider that as unacceptable, especially considering I called their customer service dept and confirmed that the door was included, prior to placing the order. She admitted in the message that “it seems as if the item would come with it” (speaking of the side door in question as shown in the ad). She left her name and extension so I called her back at approximately 5:00 pm eastern time and left a message for her to call me and so far have not received a reply.

While researching California business law, I found that according to “California Business and Professions Code, section 17500.5 (b) Any person, firm, corporation, or association who, by means of such false or negligent advertisement or publicity, induces any individual retail purchaser and consumer to enter any place of business designated therein seeking to buy any article so advertised or publicized, and then refuses to sell to such person the article at the price advertised in any quantity then available for sale on said premises, shall be liable to each person so induced and refused, for the losses and expenses thereby incurred, and the sum of fifty dollars ($50) in addition thereto”
