"I will never buy from here again. I placed an order on 9/20/06. The item was listed as being in stock and I was allowed to order. As I checked my order status, it read "processing" for the entire day...then the next day also, so I got suspicious and decided to call. Upon calling they tell me that my order has been packed and will ship that day (end of 21st). Feeling relieved, I didn't think much of it, until my order stayed labled as "packed" for antoher 3 days. This is when I get annoyed again. When I call them back they tell me that the item has now gone out of stock. So essentially they had the item in stock, supposedly packed it on the 21st, but somehow by the 25th it has dissapeared and is now out of stock. I ask them how and why my order would have been labled as "packed" then if it never existed in the first place...to this they had no answer. And the convenient thing for them is that once an item has been labled as "packed" you can't cancel it. So now they tell me it's been backordered and I'll have to wait one to two weeks. So long story short I had to call the company many times to finally cancel my order and I still don't know for sure if they have. I need to wait for my credit card bill to be certain. This is what I get for trying to save $10 by not going through newegg...which by the way once I finished with the customer service at ZZF, I placed the same order from newegg and it shipped within 2 hours...now that's a well run business."
"I purchased a digital camera one month ago. It was supposedly left at my apartment front door. I was home at the time of the "delivery". I have never received the merchandise. I have ordered from zipzoomfly.com in the past and have had no problems. Please take note they ship with "NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED". I did not realize they would send a $400 Camera without a signature.Customer service is terrible at best. Charges to my credit card currently disputed. No word from ZipZoomFly. No camera, charges on credit card, no word from them. Buyer Beware! Pay a little more and shop NewEgg.

"I ordered a camera body and lens from zipzoomfly.com and expected to have both in hand today. Their website said that both camera and lens were in-stock, and I paid extra for expedited shipping. Today I received my camera, but no lens. I contacted customer service repeatedly (and was told to leave a voicemail because all of the reps were busy -- they never responded to that message. I would have preferred to hold.) Finally I was able to get someone on the line and was told that the lens had been backordered. ZZF NEVER NOTIFIED ME OF THIS and has greatly inconvenienced me as a result. I will NEVER order from them again -- I had to go to a local retailer and pay a much higher price as I need this lens by tomorrow night. STAY AWAY! (A note that I've used beachcamera.com before and have been very happy with their prices and service. Would have ordered from them instead but they didn't have the lens I wanted in stock. I guess ZZF didn't either. What a mistake.)"

"Ordered a monitor, shown as "In Stock" on 9/15/06. ZipZoomFly accepted my PayPal transfer then. On 9/20/06, received an email that it was NOT in stock, and the ETA was left blank. Nowhere along the line did the order show other than "processing".
Cancellation of the order required a toll call to the other coast. Rep stated she had to "get approval" for the cancellation.
I'd avoid ZZF until it gets its problems with inventory tracking sorted out...maybe it should get a computer or something...."
"ZZF had my order for the new X2 4800 processor by 12:00 noon PST on July 28th. ZZF showed that the processor was in stock when I ordered. The following day my updated order status showed that the processor was packed. It remained at the same status for the next three days, so I contacted ZZF. On August 1st I contacted ZZF to find out why my order had not shipped, I was informed that the processor wasn't in stock but was expected to arrive the following Friday. There's nothing I hate worse than an online vendor showing an item in stock when it really isn't, so I cancelled my order on August 2nd and ordered from the Egg instead. There were similar reports from other ZZF customers at a Forum that I frequent, so I was not an isolated case. ZZF has really slipped in the last six to eight months. They used to be my online supplier of choice for pc parts, now they've been dropped to the bottom of the barrel. Their turn around time (even on in stock items) has gotten terrible, their shipping methods have changed and it's just not worth the hassle to have to wait four or five days to receive an order even when you pay extra for 2nd day delivery. I don't know if it's a change in management, business policies or what, but they sure aren't the same company that I started doing business with in the beginning. That's a shame."
