"BEWARE ZZF does NOT require SIGNATURE upon delivery. my box was left in an 18 apt building in brooklyn which is far from 5th ave.
when i called zzf the rep told me they dont require signature and that its fedexs responsibility to leave it or not. and that all they can do is start investigation that may take 40!!!! weeks. when i asked for a supervisor they put me on hold for 5 minutes before telling me that he is not there and that i will probably get the same solution from him. BEWARE!"
"Purchased a Patriot SD card from ZZF. Very quick and painless transaction. The item was labeled as a free ship item, which is just fine as I live within 20 miles from their shop. Essentially, I got next-day shipping for free.
Yes, I had to pay tax, but that's also the case if I stepped into Fry's, Best Buy, etc. to make the purchase. "
"One of the best stores on the internet. Great service and value. Love to deal with them."
"On Monday, August 14, 2006, I ordered the following item from www.zipzoomfy.com. The order number was Z361****. - OCZ OCZ5002048EBPE-K 2GB Kit DDR500 PC4000 Platinum Edition Dual Channel Memory On Tuesday, August 15, 2006, my account was debited in the amount of $235.99 for the part.
I received the order via Fed-Ex on Wednesday, August 16, 2006. Here is the tracking number: 7087328***** Upon opening the package, I found that the memory had been previously installed and was physically damaged. I called zipzoomfly, explained the situation, and sent them my pictures that I took of the damage. I told them that I hadn't even installed the RAM. They agreed to refund my money and said that Fed-Ex had damaged the memory. I was told that they were going to file a claim with Fed-Ex for shipping damage. In any event, they agreed that I was not at fault. They gave me a Fed-Ex RMA (return material authorization) number so that I could ship the parts back to them at no cost to me.
I shipped them the parts back on Thursday, August 16, 2006. The tracking number showing that they received the parts is: ***-***-*********
On the evening of Friday, August 25, 2006, I received an e-mail from zipzoomfly which basically stated that they were no longer going to refund my money. Since the memory was damaged, it had voided the warranty and this meant my chance of getting a refund was slim. They said it depended on whether or not they could receive replacement parts from the manufacturer.
On Monday, August 28, 2006, I spoke with several different representatives of zipzoomfly. One representative told me that I was lying and that I had obviously installed the RAM and broken it. This is false - I received the RAM from zipzoomfly in this condition. A different representative named Rena told me that it was a misunderstanding and that I would be receiving a refund by Wedndesday once they filed a claim with Fed-Ex. Then that representative (Rena) called me back and said that she was mistaken and that I might get my money back in 2 -3 weeks if they could get replacement parts from the manufacturer.
I am left with conflicting accounts of the situation but as it stands right now, I do not believe that intend to make this situation right.
In summary, I have paid $235.99 to www.zipzoomfly.com. The product was delivered in a non-usable state. I am no longer in possession of the product as it has been returned to zipzoomfly. Zipzoomfly is now refusing to refund my money.

"This was my first time ordering from zipzoomfly.com, and I was very impressed to have a live person call me to confirm the order. Very good customer service."
"All mail-in rebates with onrebate.com are fraud. None will be accepted since they don't provide the documentation needed. The FAQ clearly states that a packaging slip is fine, but they will still reject it."
"Item arrived obviously damaged, and I could not even get the unit to post past the various chasis codes. I dissambled the unit and requested a RMA the NEXT DAY. Once they received the item they claimed there was a bent pin on the cpu socket, which WAS NOT there when the unit was packed up. Since there was no way they were fgoing to take my word over there rather RUDE tech staff, they said we will send it back to gigabyte for replacement. That was three weeks ago, and I have no refund nor another motherboard. I have even requested proof that the item was ever mailed to gigabyte, and what the time frame is, and all I have received are basic, "we dont accept damaged item for refund" emails, even though I was not the one to damage it. I have called the customer service line over 5 different days, and no one picks up the phone, and email tech support is extremely rude"
"This time it was an external hard drive last time a USB drive and as always, their service is excellent and the merchandise is top quality.
I've now received my external hard drive.
It arrived in 4 days and works perfectly.
Thanks and keep those low prices coming.

"This is my second order from zipzoomfly.com. Each time I spent about $900 with them and so far no problems to report. They ship timely, their prices are great and well I can't really comment on other customer service areas as I have not had to deal with them on any returns and etc.
I would like to see a few more details on what is in the box of the OEM type parts. Like for hard drives ... are screws and cables included?
But that minor issue aside, I definately recommend them. "
"Ok- so im building/upgrading my pc (conroe baby)and new egg is out of corsair ddr2 1066mhz memory. no prob ill just search the net and find someone that has it in stock. thats where zipzoomflop comes into the picture. they show on their site that the memory is in stock so what the hey, i go and order it like an fool. i think ok great i have the rest of my system coming from newegg (great people by the way) and my memory from these new guys. a couple days pass and i check what the status of my order with zapzoomsplat is and the site says "packed". i think "hmm thats strange" so i email em as to what the deal is. they email me back saying that my order is on backorder. im like wtf? not only is my order not "packed" but it isnt even in the building of zapzipcrap. well a word to the wise- dont go with the new guys unless you want to be left with 95% of a system that does you no good at all without the memory that goes with it. ok, i feel a bit better---the moral of the story, dont deal with these posers."
"Easy shopping and checkout process..quick processing and shipment. Excellent weekly "deals." Not my first order and it won't be my last."
"It was a pleasure doing business with ZipZoomFly. I Ordered a soundcard on the Wednesday and opted for Fedex 2day over the free shipping for just a couple dollars. I ordered the product late at night, and still had it Friday. Great service. There were no issues with what I ordered, and I am a happy customer. I'll definitly be doing more business with them."
"This was about my fourth purchase going all the way back to the googlegear days. I got a great value and I've never had any problems here."
"Purchase great experience. The ordering process, price and delivery are great. Returning items horrible experience. Returned defective item for replacement, then find out a week later I am getting a full refund in a week. If I want item I need to reorder it? If problems arise with order then it seems noone is there. Spent almost 3 hours trying to reach Customer Service, Returns, or a person(got one after trying several 4 digit extensions). Seems like they do not do replacement of defective items, just refunds which is a waste of time for the customer. If I knew that they where not going to replace item when I did the RMA, I would have gone through the manufacturer or reordered it when I did the RMA. Wasted my time telling me of the refund a week after they recieved the defective item. Lost a rebate for item because of the RMA too."
"I'm pretty satisfied with the overall purchase. I ordered the canoln sd600. I chose four day shipping and it was at my door at noon on the fourth day. I have ordered from them in the past for ram and I plan to order from them again."
