"I ordered a CPU - AMD x2 4800+ on July 25th, 2006.
The order status went to 'packed' on July 26th.
It has remained that way for the past week. It is now August 1st, 2006 and the order still shows 'PACKED' This is a similar experience as another reviewer below - something fishy is going on.
The merchant has not responded to two e-mails.
They have been removed from my company's allowed vendor list.

"Take a moment to read this story if you are planning on ordering from ZipZoomFly. I ordered a Canon Scanner on June 4th and Fedex delivers on June 9th, throwing! the scanner over the fence of my home and into the yard with my three dogs. I called ZipZoomFly on the 10th and they file a claim and state it should take 4 to 6 weeks! So what happens!? I call ZZF on July 15th to see what's going on and they state the claim is pending. I get p'od and wait until today, July 31st and guess what FedEx says!? They sent a claim check to ZZF on June 28th! I immediately call ZZF and demand my refund. It is a shame really because I had purchased $500 worth of hard drives earlier in the year. I will never do business with ZZF again. If anything I recommend newegg, they at least know how to take care of their customers. "
"Place an order for a CPU on July 26, 2006, I paid extra for the 2 day shipping. Checked the status of my order on the 26th it went from being process to being packed. Checked again on the 27th where it stated "Shipped" with a tracking number received a e-mail from ZZF stating my order has shipped again this had a tracking number. My order was suppose to deliver on 7/31. Never received my cpu. I then proceeded to call ZZF and ask whats the deal. They informed me that the cpu is on back order. I then ask the question how does it go from being pack to being shipped to being back order. They blamed their computer system. I've called the Customer Service Manager several time and he hasn't called me back. I might be just one person but if a company does me well I'm very loyal. This is the last time I deal with ZZF for personal or business purchases. There are other companies out there that would like to have my money. Here is the kicker. I had a hard time trying to cancel my order. They told me I couldn't because it was shipped.
Well I decided to give them one more try. I made a business purchase and ordered it for 2 days here is its 4 days later and it's still hasn't shipped. It's been packed for the last 3 days. I wanted it here before Friday. This won't happen again. I don't feel ZZF really cares about customer service. This time it's final. No more purchase's from ZZF and I will tell everyone on how their customer service really lacks. "

Here’s my tale of woe: Ordered a Logitech MOMO Racing Wheel with pedal set….shipping weight 18 pounds. The shipping carton came apart during transit because the box flaps were secured with only one layer of un-reinforced clear tape instead of the fiberglass strengthened type normally used for shipping. At the very least, the shipping carton should have had some nylon banding or another form of strapping applied to the outside of the box to prevent it from opening during transit. In all fairness to FedEX, they did repackage my gaming components without loosing anything but, everything banged against each other and dinged the heck out of everything. Kind of looks like I dragged my new gaming controller behind my car down a gravel road. My advice to the Shipping Dept.: Shape up before you ship heavy items out to your customers! "
"Ordered a motherboard and CPU from ZipZoomFly. I had no problems placing the order, but when I received the package only the motherboard was in the box. I checked the packing list all all of the items were listed. I then checked the website and all of my items were shipped. But, when I called ZZF, they said that the CPU was backordered. However, when I logged onto the website it siad that the processors are instock. The guy from ZZF said that their inventory status is not always correct. How can a company put the items a shipped on the packing list and on the oder status section of the website and show that the parst are in stock when they truly are not available?"

"Very honorable retailer. I ordered a Core 2 Duo E6300 processor on the 26th when there was an "in stock" notification. Within hours it was changed to preorder. Many people expected them to heed intel's warning and ship on the 7th, even though their website claimed it was in stock and ready to ship.
