"I've stopped using Zone Alarm Pro because the last time that I purchased a 2-year license for 2 PCs from Zone Labs, they didn't make it clear at all that the new version of Zone Alarm Pro would no longer work with the version of Windows that I had been using. It became apparent not long afterward when I went to upgrade to the latest version of Zone Alarm Pro that it didn't like my version of Windows. I decided at that point not to upgrade Windows just so that it would be compatible with Zone Alarm Pro, leaving me with a 2-year license for 2 PCs that was of no value to me. It turned out to be $75.76 wasted and their customer service was of no help at the time.

So far, I've not had any bad experiences not having Zone Alarm Pro loaded, so it's unlikely that I'll purchase it again in the future as there are plenty of alternatives that seem to work well enough.

"Note: purchase year was 2005, not 2006, had to put 2006 in as resellers requires no later than 2006, but this was a 2 year subscription bought in 2005 and expires in 2007 so I am not intentionally misleading. the subscription is in effect till april of 2007 so this is still valid.

subscribed to a 2 yr subscription for Zonealarm Internet Security Suite(2 subscriptions) which allow for free updates for 2 years. I not been able to use the product for about 5 months now as it does not support Vista OS on the computer. I emailed Zonelabs in Nov about whether they were going to support Vista, when I had the beta on my machine and they said yes but had not done anything about it at the time. Now Vista is in it's 3rd mo. Alpha release and I still Zonelabs still does not have Zonealarm for Vista. So I have no firewall/antivirus yet except a 30 day free trial from trend micro now...And I PAID for 2 years to be able to use this program. I feel ripped off....paying for something I am not using. And further, to a company that knows a new OS is coming out, and they intend to support it but do nothing until the last minute.
And they still have the audacity to spam me with other products. Seems to me instead of spamming and promoting other companies products, they should spend that time in getting a working program for vista so my subscription is not wasted. My subscription expires in about 30 days and probably won't be renewed since Zonelabs, to me, appears to not be trustworthy or interested in keeping their product at the excellent leve it once was. And will probably buy the trend Micro product that I have a 30 day trial on my Vista now, since they have their stuff together. I have been loyal to them for years, and the least they could do is return that to their customers. I understand it takes time to conform zonealarm to a new OS, but why not start when the beta was released for use instead of telling me that they don't know anything about a zonealarm product for Vista?
Totally unacceptable Zonelabs. The Beta has been out for a long time and you should have started then, in my opinion as other competitors did. Zonelabs has in my opinion, gone from the peaks of being the best to the lowest at being behind the 8 ball and all their major competitors. And the loyalty I showed them all these years is repaid by this garbage.
Their customer service is terrible..giving you the runaround and won't answer or don't know anything about the eta or anything about the Zonelabs software for vista. And they even get to the point of not answering at all.

"HORRIBLE HORRIBLE product!! I have purchased from these guys for the last 5 years and their product has major probs and I am fed up with them. I purchased the zonealarm suite in april and put it on, and recently it caused me to have no internet connection. All settings have been the same since install for 3 or 4 mos. Now all of a sudden I have no internet connection. I haven't changed a thing. I email them for support and tell them the problem, and tell them I want it resolved or my money back for a faulty product. Their answer? From Rose-only to say that the 30 day refund period is past. Not ONE word about how to fix the problem or any support. So I emailed a fiery email back demanding support. In the meantime I uninstalled the zonealarms and still no internet connection. I spent 5 hours deleting entries in the registry and other files manually described on their site for complete uninstall. still nothing. Then I search the internet and found hundreds of posts and articles about people having the same problem while it is installed and then after uninstalling. I found out that I had to do a winsock2 fix, because their sorry software had corrupted mine on uninstall. To me they are selling and distributing a virus, because it corrupts people's files that are installed on their computers. BTW, 3 of the last versions and upgrades I purchased from them did the same exact thing, only on those I ended up doing a clean install of windows because i did not search the net.
So my probs with them are NO SUPPORT!!! I did not want my money back unless the product could not be fixed...I wanted them to resolve the problem with the connection.
Virus...this product acts like a virus to me and others as testified on the web.
And with as many reports out there of this problem, it appears they do not care and are not trying to remedy the problem, just continuing to sell people a faulty product which to me is defrauding me.
Zonealarms get's great reviews and I loved it's firewall capabilities but after running a few mos and it terminates my connection(or corrupts my other files) and then definitely corrupts my files after uninstall, the product is not worth the hassle, nor the lack of support or care by their "CUSTOMER CARE"...
Far as I am concerned they are only interested in stealing my money for a product that is faulty and acts like a virus.....t

"This company makes the Zone Alarm series of firewalls which are the best software Firewalls there are. I got in on the special preview price for Zone Alarm Plus and paid only $24.95 compared to $39.95. I was able to download my product instantly and the service could not have been better. I am deffinetly going to go back to them a year after I bought this to renew my update lisence thing. I deffinetly recomend this site."
