Hard part to find

"I am an Operations Manager at a large mall in Texas, I needed to replace a roof hatch latch, and AB supply had a video on how to measure to order the correct parts. That made it so nice, to order once and got the correct part, Good quality part, and I received it earlier than expected. Want to thank you for the guy on the video!! Thanks again"

35% Restocking fee

"Do not buy from this company. They will charge you 35% restocking fee... 35% is ridiculous and being used as a way to discourage people from returning items. "

Clueless on Customer Service

"Company was selected to order a $681.00 pivot hinge as website showed product as shipping in 1 business day. Worldwide expedited shipping was selected for an additional $211.00. Product was ordered 7/23/2021 before noon and was not shipped until 7/31/2021.

As of today, 8/06/2021, product is still in transit, and a request for a refund on the shipping was responded to with "If you have an issue with the amount of time it has taken UPS to deliver your package that is something you will need to address with UPS". Unfortunately, UPS cannot provide refunds to a 3rd party, considering it was send via the shippers account.

The real challenge is the part is required for business purposes. As a result of a suppliers' inability to provide the service as stated, we now have an unhappy customer that needs to be resolved; by either assigning a value to their dissatisfaction and offering a credit, or absorbing the cost of shipping and reducing the cost of the part. Both of which are inconsequential in comparison to customer goodwill.

The worst irritation being the price was not the lowest, the shipping was the highest, and the inability to ship as stated has snowballed into customer dissatisfaction - ours and theirs.

In the future we'll stick with Amazon or another reputable source where the importance of customers is valued.

Do you like being mocked?

"Richard was very helpful in picking out the correct industrial door panic exit device. He is the "head locksmith". When the door closer arrived, it had a few small bent parts, so I called Richard to make sure it was OK to bend the tabs back without voiding my warranty. He made fun of me for being cautious, because he apparently is also an amateur metallurgist.

14 days later, the damned thing stopped latching securely, and could be pulled open when it was locked. I called Richard back, and he mocked me again, saying I had bought a cheap Korean unit, instead of the much more expensive device. This time he claimed to be a Greek guy, "and if you know anything about Greeks, they all own restaurants in Chicago. A Greek restaurant owner would "NEVER" buy such a cheap device!"

To top it off, he refused to send me a replacement piece without me paying for a new one, including shipping. Then, his team of "experts" will evaluate my broken one, and they MAY refund the cost. No return shipping label, either.

So here I am, waiting a week to get a replacement, with my back door secured with Zip ties. ABSupply.net is full of crap, have they not noticed how well Amazon and other internet venders do business? Probably not!

fast help, excellent shipping

"I had picked up a metal commercial metal door from an online trade website and it lacked the hinges. Being a special pattern I was not able to find them locally. I discovered absupply, emailed them and was promptly taken care of - the order was delivered yesterday. With the AAA+++ experience I had, I highly recommend them for any such needs. "

Do not ORder from them

"There was a misunderstanding about a part I wanted to order (whether I misunderstood or they directed me wrong isn't the issue) I asked to return the item because it wouldn't work for me , there response was they had to check with manufacturer abouit "re-stocking fee" I said ok I get it don't agree but I get it , after waiting a few more days because they told me they would call me , I called them . I said I want to return they say do u want the correct item I say no because needed ASAP been waiting there response " oh" well manufacturer will be charging a higher restocking fee now im like really just nevermind so frustrating lack of customer service never agin"

"In this day and age it is inconceivable that a company can so disregard it's obligation to deliver the goods that it promised. Never received what I ordered but was charged at 25% restocking fee. "

If you're a professional and need parts and supplies on time, stay clear and far away from these amateurs

"Zero international had just moved out of the Bronx and since being acquired by a multinational became difficult to do business with. I searched and found these clowns, who at first seemed like I could save some money with.
Well nothing they said turned out to be true. I almost lost the job I had contracted for, and they wouldn't take back some of the parts I HAD TO GO TO ANOTHER VENDOR FOR since they screwed up on the delivery. Stay clear of these clowns.

"Ordered 3 plunger type door stops on 9/18, credit card charged that day. Heard nothing from these folks until I called them on 10/3. Was told it would be shipped from the supplier's site on 10/10 and would receive a tracking number. Called again on 10/14 and was promised it would be shipped "tomorrow". I asked what tomorrow meant, the 15th? Was told yes or maybe even today (14th). Got an email on the 14th that info had been provided the USPS as intent to receive parcel but they had not. Called ABSupply back on the 16th around noon and requested a refund. Later that same day 5:55pm, USPS received the package. After being lied to on more than one occasion, even though they have a lot of materials I would be interested in, I won't do business with them again. "
