"I paid over one thousand dollars for two amplifiers, it would have been a good deal if I ever recieved them. Do not buy anything from this store. They take your money and then feed you lies and excuses about why you don't have what you ordered. Mark Karris is a master at not answering direct questions and all he does is make empty promises. I will never be a customer of acaraudio again. I hope others read the many negative reviews and save themselves the grief.

"Unfortunately I had to return my amplifier to acaraudio after only having it for a week. Acaraudio has now had my amp since 09/11/06, it is now 10/18/06 and they have given me no insight as to when I will recieve my replacement. I have emailed them on several occasions only to get generic replies stating that I would recieve my replacement as soon as it came in. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY, THEY'RE LEVEL OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BEYOND SUBPAR.
When I originally ordered my amp I was told it was in stock to ship next day. They didn't ship my amp for two weeks and only did so when I actually called to cancel my order. Good prices do not make up for bad service.

"Company provided NO information about my order until I emailed them, several weeks after my order was placed (and credit card was charged). After emailing, they FALSELY claimed my order was shipped. They gave me a tracking number - that says it NEVER shipped! Weeks later, they say it had shipped. I will be contacting my credit card company and filing a report on these people. BUYER BEWARE!!!"

"I've used this store on several occasions and they have been great. I ordered items that were hard to get and although it took a little longer to get, they got it to me all in good shape. The customer service was great and easy to work with. I think that if they provided more phone support, it would help alot, but we shouldn't complain because of we do save a lot of money and time ordering online. I would highly recommend there service if you are looking for quality grade A merchandise."

"I would rate this company a negative 10, on a scale of 0-10. It doesn't get much worse than dealing with a company that refuses to communicate or refuses to engage in normal business practices. Legit companies do NOT attempt to engage their cloaking shields for nothing.
I purchased a rather expensive amp. After about six days without receiving any shipping information. I sent an email making an enquiry. I got a response that saying only they they would look into it and get back with me. Never happened. After about 4-5 more days, I resent the enquiry, then again ... NO responses.
Then I started looking the site over and discovered there was no phone numbers. I looked up their domain name, no contact information there either. They had done a pretty good job of hiding in ciberspace. They had charged my card just about immediately and I should have received my amp within a week. Now it's two weeks and nothing but silence.
I wrote them a note that if they didn't send me tracking information by the next day when I got up, I would come after my money. If they were going to refuse to communicate, I wanted nothing more to do with them. If there was any problems with the amp, I'd have to go through this all over again, or worse. I think much worse. I called my CC Co and started a dispute. I got their number from my credit card Co.

They eventually sent it after I called them several times making enquiries, though it would have taken another week before I had it (3 weeks after ordered), but my email had been completely serious and I did just as I said. I stopped the shipment in route, and had it returned.
Lessons: if there is NO phone number on their web site, you are mostly likely dealing with folks that only want your money and will do just as they please and to hell with you ... In my opinion, this company is totally out to lunch. Saving a dime is not worth the distress and apprehension induced by dealing with such ghostly apparitions. This company is my worse night mare.
Even worse, they have all their customer's credit cards on their site, where this information is unencrypted. They justified this to me based on their use of SSL, but if they get hacked, ... and I've already been a victim of this exactly same thing before and I had to contest all the charges etc .. wasting days, just because some incompetent arrogant Co got hacked and their CC #s stolen. Once you login after placing your order, you will see your credit card number under the details of your order. After weeks it's still up and I am still seeing it. I asked to have my CC removed and they refused. So now I will have to cancel my card and go through all that hassle because I was stupid enough to have picked this Co.
I wanted to deal with a reputable company, that was responsive and responsible, as I would have an acceptable remedy, if there was a problem with the amp.This Co doesn't meet any of my expectations. They have wasted weeks of my time and unfortunately, I'm not finished with them yet.
They still have my money and CC# ... in anguish, an audiophile

"Now I’m a real customer and is going to tell it like it is, (not some one employed by this company trying to boost company name). This company is ok… the only gripe I had was it took a little longer to get my product. From the time I click my mouse to send my order to the time it got to my door step, took about 3 hours away from 20 days. Wich is unusually long for a product that is in stock, & correct shipping address & was available to sign for my package on 1st attempt… But didn’t take them no time to bill me… But when I got my product, I was very pleased, order was correct, new and not damaged in any way. So for that reason… I’m ok with ordering from them again…

I e mailed them wandering why my order was in processing for so long. And they responded rather quickly, and gave me a tracking # when shipped (as promised).

Good to say they have a huge selections of brands that other sites are limited to.

"These guys were great. I ordered a CD player for my son for Christmas and recieved it within 3 days. They sent me the tracking information as soon as it was sent. Real professionals and helpful throughout the process. I highly recommend them and will definitely make more future purchases from them"

"I purchased from this company and it's been nothing but trouble. There were extravagant shipping charges (APO), one item was delayed in shipping by a month and a half (I never found out why), there is no phone number for calling about orders already placed, only an email address. The response time is good, but they dance around your questions. It's been 2 months now and I'm still waiting on a shipment. One of my orders was changed without notification. I bought something "at sale price" and it was switched for another amp of lesser value, but at the same price (as the sale price - this second item was MSRP). It's been two months and I'm still trying to get them to credit my credit card with $500 from a canceled order that they charged anyway. I'll not shop with them again."

"This is the worst online vendor that I have ever dared to purchase from. They said that they would ship my order out. I got it a little slower than most online vendors, about a week and a half after placing the order. Then I opened up the package and found out that they only sent 2 out of 7 items. I e-mailed them and asked them where the rest of my order was. They said that the shipping department determines how items are shipped out, and they would forward them the e-mail. I never got another response. To make a long story short, I ended up receiving my order in two more separate packages. The last and most crucial one came ONE MONTH after placing my order. There was not one single time that this company notified me that the order would be split up or that I would receive items separately. I have continually asked for the manager's direct phone number, and they have not responded at all. I have also tried to RMA an item that I received, and I have not received a response for 3 days. Absolutely horrible communication and shipping policies. Save yourself the undue stress and order from someone else."
