Excellent Customer Service

"Best Customer Service, Great Price, Amazing products. I ordered Boulet Shooter Boots for my husband for Christmas. Love Free Shipping! When they arrived, they were too tight. I emailed customer service and got a response the next day. They explained that Boulet Boots were made in Canada and that a Canadian size E is a United States size D. They sent me a UPS return shipping label. I sent them back and exchanged them for a size 11 EEE in Canadian size. Customer Service kept me updated throughout the process. When the second set arrived, they fit perfectly. My husband loved the boots and I loved the price. Best In Shoe’s was $80 cheaper than any other retail outlet. I appreciate everyone at Best In Shoe’s that made this happen."

No Complaints Here

"I make a habit of checking the reviews on this site before buying from an unfamiliar retailer. However, there were no reviews on the site for Bestinshoes.com, and they were asking a low price for the Chippewa boots I wanted. I decided to make myself the test subject.

My received a confirmation email message almost immediately after completing my purchase; that was a good sign. Bestinshoes advises on their site that orders can take 2-3 business days to process. On the second day after my purchase, I received an email message notifying me that my order status had changed to "Awaiting Shipment", and it stayed that way for another full day after which I received a message notifying me that my order had shipped. I was a bit confused as to why shipment origin was in Texas when Bestinshoes is supposed to be headquartered in New York state; however this turned out to be because Chippewa drop-shipped the boots directly from their facilities.

Unfortunately, or fortunately as the case may be, I can't give an account of the company's customer service because I had no cause to use it. Be aware though that Bestinshoes.com does not have phone-based customer support; customers are invited to leave an email message which is supposed to be answered within a business day. Also, the boots fit perfectly so I don't have any reason to find out how well Bestinshoes.com handles returns and exchanges. They do cite that returns may be subject to a restocking fee.

It was not the fastest online buying experience I've ever had, but it was nonetheless smooth and trouble-free. Based on my first purchase from them, I'm be willing to give Bestinshoes.com another try in the future.
