Don't buy from them if you live in Australia

"I ordered a back pack and received confirmation and funds were taken from my credit card. Two days later I receive another email stating that I need to send copy of passport or other photo ID. Clearly I didn't feel comfortable about this on a security level and advised them of this. I then received an email stating that my order was cancelled and 'some' funds will be returned. Not sure what this means as I haven't received any money yet. I 'chatted' to someone from their chat line and she said that i was a security risk as my address is more than 1000km away. As I live in Australia, this would make sense but I have ordered many items from overseas and never had an issue particularly as we are talking about an $89 item. I said I still wanted the back pack and could i do anything else and was informed that no i couldn't and that the order was cancelled! I was made to feel like a criminal. I totally understand that these things happen but for an item worth under $100 i find it ridiculous and extremely risky for me to send my personal ID with photo halfway around the world along with credit card numbers etc. Was extremely unhappy with the lack of customer service and the lack of support in trying to resolve the problem. I will never do business with Bkackleaf again. Let's hope I receive full refund at the very least. "

package was lost; no help from customer service

"I ordered a sweatshirt from them to be shipped to Germany. The thing was delivered to some neighbor, but I did not receive a notice who that was. Long story short: I asked Blackleaf to look into it, which they refused to do. I never received the sweatshirt and I did not get my money back. I was astounded at how fervently their customer service refused to be of any help at all. They kept saying that they had proof it was delivered, not addressing the issue at hand. I've e-mailed them, I've called them...I don't recommend ordering from these people. "

"Ordered some shoes from this company for the first time - took a risk as it was the cheapest but had never heard about them before. Used their discount code they had at the time for 10% but stupidly didn't check that it had actually been applied when I finalise the payment (it did before this). Realised the error immediately and sent an email to them straight away requesting they refund the 10% (I didn't remove the code so obviously an error with their website). No reply for a number of days. Sent another email. Got a generic reply saying "we cannot apply a discount once the item has shipped". I explained I first raised this within minutes of placing the order (at night!). Have not heard back since. The shoes are good but the customer service is shocking. Will not be using them again."

"Great gear, at great prices. The vans shoes turned up the next day and were just as they looked in the picture. Much much cheaper than any other skate stores. Blackleaf is my number one for clothing and trainers."

"placed an ordered, next day delivery. hasn't arrived, have tried to contact them every day since, had no reply at all from them, have sent at least 15 emails. all have been ignored. do not use this company!!"
