"I have been very happy with my "Blurb" experience! I compliled a collection of stories written by my father-in-law. He wrote stories describing experiences from his 80+ years. "Over quite a long time I've tried putting together my own publications, slim volumes, catologues etc and it's resulted in a real phobia of approaching the local printer. They're good people, but always busy busy busy, and anyone like me (on the arty sensitive side) gets burned inevitably by the experience.
So, to cut a long story short, after trying and failing to master
quarkexpress. openoffice.org cos I'm a bit whatever, . at last,I'm in my own little publishing office heaven. Three books in I have to admit I'm addicted. Now I've reached the point where I've stopped caring (temporarily about typos), and the wait for delivery is an agony (shortish). Only problem is
the cost, but I'm aiming to work my way round that one . . Ha ha !"
