"Very deceiving. Used webpage on phone and assumed I was purchasing from the venue. VERY overpriced and poor customer service. DO NOT purchase tickets here. They are thieves. "
"I thought I was buying directly from the venue Peterborough Memorial Centre. But it was actually BoxOffice-Tickets.com
I thought I was getting the best seats available so I clicked on the ticket price of $97.00. They said the map was temporarily unavailable.
They also tacked on extra fees and I ended up paying $261.13 for two tickets. I also didn't realize I was paying in American dollars so the total I paid was $336.24
When I printed out my tickets the price said they were only worth 71.95 (so for two, I should have only paid $143.90), and
then I found out my tickets are in the very last row.
So the total I paid was $336.24 for two tickets that should have totaled $143.90 which I wouldn't have even bought if I knew where they were!
I tried calling them and sent them e-mails but their response was too bad so sad!
"
"Tickets sold by this site are not what is advertised, they are overcharged and misleading.
Please stay away. ask for a refund from credit card ASAP. they do not answer calls, chats, or e-mail."
"biggest scam ever, 3 times the price of the venues tickets, no refunds, no exchanges but they said I can scalp them for even more to get rid of the tickets
HORRIBLE SCAM!!!!!!"
"Paid 3x as much for tickets that were supposed to be on the floor, ended up on the upper level about as far away as you can get from the stage! What a ripoff. Won't refund us any money even though they acknowledged it was advertised incorrectly!!! SCAM!!!"
"This is literally the worst place to order tickets from. They have a price near the ticket that says one thing, but once you pay the subtotal is much more than what they say the toclet would be. I called to find out why the total had skyrocketed and no one ever answered the phone. I emailed them and their only means of customer service was to tell me to resale the ticket. NEVER, I REPEAT NEVER ORDER TICKETS FROM THESE SCAMMERS "
"Box Office was in touch with me shortly after my review raised an issue. The staff took time to speak with me and my issue was resolved to my satisfaction. I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly and professionally the matter was addressed."
"We were never told about the true nature of the purchase, they represented they had tickets available for an event that the tickets were not EVEN available for..."
"Charged me 300% more than the venue was charging for concert tickets. Their rep suggested I scalp the tickets to recoup my costs. SUCH BS!"
"Don't do it! Bought SF Giants Spring Training Tickets - thought I was buying from the official box office site of the Scottsdale Stadium based on the website address. Later found out that I was wrong. This is a resale ticket site - like buying tickets from ticket scalpers. I paid more for the tickets plus a hefty fee to download them. If I would have been on the official City of Scottsdale website, I could have bought tickets in the same section for 37% less!"
"Such a scam. Looks like it could be part of the Fisher Theatre Box Office site. Very unclear that they do not have inventory tickets - turns out they only handle the "resale". Wish I would have read the reviews first. Lesson learned. Andreas, the supervisor, very unable to give me any satisfaction whatsoever. I knew immediately I did not want these "resale tickets", just by location alone. I was in contact with the company by phone in less than 24 hours, and the sale transaction could not be stopped and refunded even though it was not complete with the CC company."
"I googled my venue and was led to believe I was dealing with them and payed 700% more for the tickets. Calling my credit card company to fight this."
"I thought I was on the venue's site when I ordered the tickets. I ended up paying 200% more than I would have had I actually been on the venue's website and trying to talk to someone at the company was pointless and nearly impossible. Just avoid them all together unless you like wasting money like I did."
"purchased tickets in November for a February concert was promised in an email to have them by the 16th of February and after many phone calls , now 9 days later,it is the day before the concert and i still have no tickets!!! dont do it!!!"
