"I ordered a pair of new boots online and appear to have received either a pretty worn display model or a returned pair in a box that was absolutely oversized with no cushion packaging.
I am aware the boots were purchased at a sale price but I didn’t expect the boots to be in a less than new condition as there was no indication of such in the description online.
I am very disappointed that these boots have some wear already, having purchased new from the Cavenders website.

"ordered two items totaled 70.00. Cavenders put a temporary charge (Hold) on account. Then, shipped the products, charged account again, but never lifted the hold. Was told it takes two-three days. Well 21 days went by, my bank had to manually lift the hold. Will never order from Cavendars again. "

"Made a huge purchase on the cavenders website. They took the money and decided later that they were out of stock on all 10 of my items after payment was processed.
Yes the money was eventually returned--but I wanted my order! Now of course everything is back in stock at much higher prices.
Called customer service who gave me the complete run around. Price glitch, out of stock, maybe they do have it in stock, etc"

When I received my order it was actually a cowboy hat for someone else (mix-up)
I called customer service and was taken care of right away.
This was a Thursday and the girl's birthday was Saturday.
They actually overnighted the boots to me and I had them Friday.
What a great company to do business with.

No response I will never buy from this company again. I purchased before Christmas as well and those were cancelled as well as the ones I did get had security tags attached to them! They explains how to take a drill and remove them! Why would I ever deal this this again?!??! "I was talking to the sweetest cashier who made me and my buddy feel welcome, she was asking if we were finding everything okay and tried helping us while others stood around ignoring us. Not only that but the cashier (Jessica I believe was her name) just started having a very nice conversation with us. One of her coworkers ( Zoe) pulled her away from us and yelled at her she was stealing her sale, and that she was just a cashier when Jessica said she was only wanting to help us and didn't care who got the commission. Zoe made the cashier tear up, and changed her whole attitude when we went to check out. if you go to Cavenders in Tulsa Oklahoma I recommend Jessica, he is an amazing person, with a welcoming positive attitude."
"I placed an order, and the company would not give a ship date. I needed the purchase for Christmas. I called the company, spoke with a representative that told me she was able to successfully CANCEL the order for me. That evening, I got an email telling me the order shipped. I emailed and told them the order was "Successfully" cancelled earlier that day, and the reply stated "Sorry the order cannot be cancelled, it has already shipped." They gave me a tracking number that then showed the item delivered, but I NEVER RECEIVED IT. Now I am receiving a run-around about filing a Lost Package Claim with FedEX before a refund can be processed. Who knows how long that will take. Not a very reputable company and certainly not CUSTOMER FRIENDLY!
I suggest looking elsewhere and do not make the mistake I made."
"Like other reviews stated. This company does not value their customers. I placed an order on December 16th. In my mind in enough time to receive my order before Christmas. On December 17th I received an email stating that my ordered had shipped. After December 23rd I had not received order, I called Cavenders and they stated that Fed Ex did not pick up order and that they would expedite it after Christmas. After additional days of waiting and calls I was given the run around about my order because they assistance were nonchalant about the issue. Unfortunately, I finally found out that my order was canceled, but with persistent with trying to get my purchase, I finally received it on December 30th. It took 13 days for me to receive one item! Very frustrated and disappointed in this company. Truly, people, do not waste your time ordering. This company should not be in business."
"Same as other reviewers it appears. Placed an order and it was cancelled after Christmas. Waited and waited for it to ship. Reached out to them twice during the wait and they assured me it would be on its way. 2 days after Christmas, received the cancellation notice. Never shipped. Excuses, excuses. They don't care.. Reached out with no real help. Will never shop at Cavenders again. Too many others selling the same items. Don't need them. Please be aware when placing an order.. not worth the hassle in my opinion.
