They don't indicate in any manner if they received the returned item and looking at my oders on site it appears they are crediting me with the return but after a month I still have not received any credit. As with many other online retailers, lack of communication with their customers is a big problem."

"These folks are bad news. Ordered an LG 32X CD-Writer back in June. It failed within 30 days. Got an RMA number and FOUR months later received a replacement: open box, no software, obviously a returned unit, even the case warranty seal was missing. Needless to say, the unit is defective. I won't even bother to contact these folks to receive yet another piece of junk!"

"I recently ordered a Gigabyte GA-7ZXR motherboard among $700 of other equipment from Computergate.
The board arrived used, with pieces missing and yellow ooze caked around the top of one of the large capacitors. The driver CD was scratched, the box was torn up, cables were missing and DIP switches had been switched off their factory settings. Most of the mounting screw holes had been gouged by screwheads from some previous installation.
Computergate has not acknowledged my complaint (typical for them) nor taken any action to rectify the situation. I have therefore alerted my credit card company to withhold payment. I have purchased from them for over six years and have seen a steady decline in service. Now they've reached rock bottom: selling used goods as new.
Their support has never been very good as other posters have noted. Now it's become absolutely atrocious. STAY AWAY!!!!"
