"Please do yourself a favor and do not purchase from Conn's. We bought appliances or TRIED to buy appliances from them back in November 2020. They were to be in stock and delivered about a month/month and half later. We were fine waiting that long for them. That time came, no appliances. I called for an update - it'll be another month or so until they're back in stock, so were looking at some time in February. Waited that month, pushed back another month - until March. We get to March - I call yet again...they tell me everything is in stock and on hold for me except the range. Call at the end of March - get the run around again. I tell the lady that we want to just cancel the order as were just tired of all the run around & the date getting pushed back every time we call. She ask me to hold, speaks to a manager or so she says & comes back on the line saying they should have everything delivered to their warehouse on April 4th & would get them to my house within a week or two after that. Told her I would call then & make sure they made it. Called April 5th, spoke to my salesperson who tells me she needs to check Houston and call me back. Wait several hours, she doesn't call so I call her back. Guess what? She's gone for the day. I ask someone else to update me on my order & this lady goes on to tell me that they have nothing except the microwave in stock. Range isn't in stock, refrigerator isn't in stock and the dishwasher they don't sell anymore and would have to try and sell me the floor model IF they still have it. MIND YOU - I was told three of the four appliances were in stock and holding for me until the range became available. I told her I was done with all the run around and I wanted to just cancel the whole order because its been a terrible experience. She couldn't cancel it so she took down my name and number and said a manager would call me. Guess what? It's the next day at noon, no one has called. Call up there to ask about it "Oh your orders showing cancelled". They cancelled my order, and never even called me back. Which goes to show you that they absolutely do not care about their customers & also tells you just how their customer service is. Please do yourself a favor and buy elsewhere. "

2 weeks ago we purchased a couple of furniture items and a PS4 from Conns HomePlus. Us being so busy with work we didn’t get to open our PS4 box til about 4 days ago. We found in this PS4 box 3 Dynasty Hardware boxes that were door locks. We called the store on Marbach about what we found and they sent us to 2 numbers. 1 number DID NOT WORK the 2nd number was “ corporate “. I was on the phone for what felt like more than an hour just for the worker named MOLLY to tell me THEY CANNOT DO ANYTHING FOR ME!!!!! THEY SAID THE MANAGER, WHOS NAME IS CHRIS, CHECKED THESE BOXES BEFORE DISTRIBUTING IT TO US !!!! Corporate said all they can do for us is file a complaint and they would call me within 72 hours. NOT ONE CALL HAS BEEN MADE TO REACH OUT TO ME OR MY HUSBAND. My husband and I want to inform everyone out there so that way they can save themselves the hassle from this place. "
"I bought a reclining sofa and after a few months the right side reclining handle broke. i called may 24th and they wanted me to send info like pictures,make and model etc. i did that the same day via email and made several calls.It has been 20 days and i have not heard from them or have not had an appointment scheduled. they kiss your **** till you buy then pretty much you are garbage to them. there service department ****!!!!.. I would not recommend them to anyone. "
"I receive my new mattress and the delivery driver said he could only get the top plastic unfolded to above bottom corner not all the way off for us to look at prior to accepting delivery worst mistake ever come to find out that particular corner had a hole in it ! Call customer service immediately that day thinking they care about customer experience and did not receive a call we had to call continuously down to there customer service agent along with distribution center finally 3 days later we are given an option for a rebate return for 600 dollars or a exchange we asked for the exchange and still have gotten nothing then come to find out they do not honor price match only under certain scenarios most people do the 0% Finance but they don’t disclose that you can’t get price match if that’s what you did at purchase but the particular store we purchased from stated they will do both - we have been sleeping on couches and given no resolve just stories and lies not even an area manager has reached out as promised I work with the auto industry and have seen it all but this deceptive practice by Conns is true poor customer service and a horrible experience "
"Purchased furniture and service contract 11/18. 2/19 furniture broke. Called to schedule repair. To date (5/22/18) no repair has been done. In Feb, we were told the part would be shipped to us, once received, call to schedule repair. Part was never received. Called back and were told, would take a while as it was being shipped from Japan. Called back and were told we would receive a return call within 24 hours, which never happened. Called again, yesterday, and got transferred a few times, finally spoke with a Marilyn Hernandez who stated "this is unacceptable" and promised to call back within 24 hours, which again never happened. Called again today, and were told we "qualified" to have the furniture replaced but we would have to do all the leg work to make that happen. Shouldn't a company that cares about it's customers say "when would be a convenient time to replace your furniture?" No, that didn't happen. Have to ask what good does it do to replace furniture you can't repair once it breaks? Also, what good does a service contract do, if repairs can not be made? #customer service #need help."
"I bought an HP Invy laptop on March 14th from Conn's, fortunately on store credit. It was defective out of the box. I took it back to Conn's and asked for an exchange. I explained to them that I needed it for work. I was told that an exchange wasn't an option. I was told that they could send it to service for repair or I could return it but have to pay a 15% restocking fee. I turned it in for repair. It took a few week for the service department to contact me. They confirmed that the screen was defective and that it would be sent back to HP for repair.
I told Conn's that I didn't want the defective computer back and that I refuse to pay the restocking fee. I explained that a restocking fee should be for the product that is functional where the customer just changed their mind about the purchase.
Conn's has me in collections now. I will never shop at Conn's again. "
"DO NOT shop at Conns. I bought a TV paid $1,000 for it. I brought it back the very next day, within 24 hours because it was not working right. They changed one of the settings and convinced me to take it back and try again. I did. It was a nightmare! The TV was awefull. There was no one to help me. The people at Toshiba Support were not helpful and I could get no where with it. So 5 days after buying it, I brought it back a 2nd time to return it. They insisted I pay $150 re-stocking fee. I tried everything to get out of it, I even offered to buy a different TV. They refused to offer me a discount on a new TV and would not accept the Returned TV until I paid them $150. DO NOT USE THEM!!"
