Salesman sold her a helmet that was to small so tried getting a new one for a discount an all the salesman by the name of Luke could say is sorry boss. Got tired of being called boss and told him that so he hung up on me. Never doing business with this place agin. Owner needs to train employees "
"I have bought many items from cycle gear over the years. Recent purchases have kinda soured me on the retailer.
I bought a USB charger to install on a motorcycle that I have. After installing I noticed that it would not charge my I phone. Thinking this to be strange I tested other usb charging cords for the I phone that I know to work, nothing helped. Then confused by this because I was sure that the install was correct, I tried a different product that requires a usb cable for charging, and it worked. After removing the product from the bike I took it back to the store.
While there for the return I purchased a new brake lever only to get it home and find that during the manufacturing process a drill bit had been broken off in the hole for the return spring. So, I took this back to the store for an exchange.
But....they didn't have any more brake levers in the store for my application. The store clerk said that they could order me a new one and send it to me so I didn't have to come back in, I said great. The clerk then proceeded to give me a refund for the purchase price. I questioned this because I knew that the brake lever needed to be paid for and he said that it wasn't a problem. I said "ok".
I left the store for just a few moments and started receiving calls from a manager type letting me know that I need to come back to the store and pay for the part otherwise they couldn't order it for me. Very confused and frustrated by the whole experiences I decided to just buy the part from a local retailer nearby and not deal with the hassle of returning to the store.
Overall disappointed with the quality of parts that I have recently purchased and service."
"Took at least one half hour to write up the order. I then paid and one week later they called and said I could pick up the product. When I went in to pick up the product it took another 15 to 20 min for them to enter it into their mickey mouse accounting system so they could give me another receipt. "
