"I had been looking for a new helmet and a communication system that would allow me to receive emergency phone calls from home while on long road trips. I have a 51 year old disabled daughter who lives at home with my wife and me who periodically has some serious medical issues. Being connected while riding is important to me. Until now my wife would call my riding buddy, who would then tell me over the CB I need to call home. I wanted a system that I didn’t have to hardwire onto my bike! None of my riding friends, however, were aware of such a system for my 2008 Goldwing. Out of curiosity I attended “Bike Night” at the Thousand Oaks Cycle Gear with a riding buddy. Getting there early we browsed through the store waiting for Bike Night to start. A clerk asked me if he could help me and I explained to the clerk what I had been looking for in a communication system for my Goldwing. He then directed me to a new product by Sena that specifically addressed my needs and it even stated right on the box, “For Honda Goldwing”! I thought I was being punked! After some deep thought I spent some serious money on the communications system and a new helmet! It was even better than I expected; Bluetooth! The clerk installed 1/2 of the system in my new helmet while my buddy and I installed the other 1/2 on my bike! Operational in about 30 Minutes! No more being tethered to my bike by the cord attached to my helmet and bike! And, it works!"
