Quickly contacted by 2 managers, both were professional and courteous and rectified the situation.
///"Pretty terrible experience with this store... tire techs in dire need of some training.
Bought a tire from them, still had to pay $25 for mount & balance. Second to that, the service tech didn't even balance the tire! This was proven by the fact that the old weights were still on the rim. I asked while being checked out and his response was "yes, it is already in balance". Thirdly, I was given the wheel without a valve stem cap and had to ask for it to be retrieved from the back. Following this, I took the wheel to a local mechanic to confirm the balance. Big surprise, it wasn't even close. That cost me another 5$ to get the wheel to spec.
This was my second negative experience at getting a tire put on a wheel at this store (the first being a gross overuse of wheel weights and no replacement of the previous valve stem, but at least it was actually balanced!) and now I've learned my lesson.
I don't want to bash the technicians but they need some instruction on how to perform the job to an acceptable standard if money is being paid for said service."///"

If only revzilla had cycle gear’s work acumen. Revzilla can lean a thing or two from cycle gear. But their pettiness keeps them from giving good customer service. "

"I went to cycle gear looking for a specific bell rogue helmet. I liked the look of it. Tried it in and sales man told me it wiuld be loud. He also said he did not think inwould like the helmet. It is second helmet I was buying from them this year. After 1 ride I hated everything about the helmet. The sales man was correct with everything he told me. 3 days after sale I went back in and returned helmet 1 had to order helmet 2 because they did not have my size in the graphics package I wanted. One week later helmet is shipped to the store. Because I had comms out into helmet 1 and wanted them moved to helmet 2. The whole exchange was 1first class and painless. The store from mangegment to salesman all worked with me and very pleasant tobwork with. 2nd helmet is the Icon 4 horseman first ride with new helmet was 400 miles helmet is light fit well. Very comfortable. This is my new favorite helmet. Thank you cycle gear El Paso TX. "
