"I stopped by simply to pick up a helmet that I had reserved online and a pair of pants. The young ladies there were very sweet and took time out to explain to this old man what to expect with the helmet while they had just received a shipment."

"The tire arrived at the local Cycle Gear in a reasonable amount of time. However, their compressor was broken, and they could not mount the tire. After a few weeks, I took my wheel and left it with them so that they could mount the tire on it when they resolved the compressor issue. After several days, I called to check on the tire mounting status. They said that they could have mine ready later in the day, which they did. I picked it up from the store, and they said that all I had to pay for was the valve stem, as it had taken so long. I had to sign a sheet of paper before I could get my wheel, which I did. While mounting the wheel on my bike, I noticed that the left side had gouges in the aluminum. This indicated that care had not been taken while mounting the tire on the wheel. I have tried to polish out the gouges, but they are too deep. My bad for not inspecting the wheel before leaving the store, and for assuming that the page that I signed was for the no-charge. I assumed that I'd be informed of any issues - bad assumption."

"I've been to 3 different Cycle Gear Stores in two states and in all cases the availability of helmets, gloves, jackets as well as motorcycle accessories like cup holders and phone mounts was very poor. The very reason I go to a storefront location is to avoid ordering online. I would think it reasonable that a store called Cycle Gear would actually have cycle gear.
